Who can turn around the struggling Tamil Cinema industry?

  Theepan will turn around the industry.
  
  He will continue to open stupid threads trying to stir up everybody.
  
  K.Balachander will direct a film about a crazed Kapileshwar fan who wrote opened so many threads on newtfmpage that the other DFers had to hunt him down and shoot him.
  
  This film will be scored by Kapileshwar, who will fade into oblivion after the movie due to lack of Talent.
  
  This will be the turning point in Tamil Cinema.

  Well, This isn't a bad thread at all. Tamil cinema industry is struggling for various reasons. More and more violence and sex and lack of story line. Once in a while we get good movies like Anbe Sivam but people are not ready to accept that as a good movie. We lost our originality long time ago. The art of 'story telling' and 'characterization' is totally missing. First of all, there isn't a story to tell. Then songs.. they are all the same and predictable. They are not composed for hte story but for the actor and for the thrend. Anybody can direct and anybody can act and the amount that they get is unbelievable. (chimbu is charging 2 crores. read last week's kumudham). On top of all these the industry is facing VCD problems..
  Who can turn around all these problems??? I guess there isn't one single answer to this question

  good points, x. I think Chollywood (Kodambakkam) is falling into the same trap that Hollywood is-- all glamour and no substance!
  
  Well, let Hollywood clean up its act first, then we'll worry about Bollywood, then and only then can we work on Chollywood. That's all I gotta say.
