Who is the highest paid singer to date?

  Unfortunately the highest paid singer in TFM is UDIT NARAYAN who charges 80 thousand rupees plus his flight and stay which would cost more than a lakh for the producers.The flight for Bombay singers alone cost around 12000(business class).
  The south Indian singers like Unnikrishnan,Srinivas,Harish Raghavendra,Sujatha,Anuradha Sreeram and others get around 10000
  Pls note that the remuneration for the Chennai based singers is lesser than the flight expenses of Bombay singers.

  I think it was KJY. i have read somewhere that he was paid an astronomical amount of rs.5 lacs for a song in the 90's (90's!!). he was flown down from florida for the song (add the airfare). this was an unusual song which lasted 12 minutes.
