Melodies from all eras that are not based on classical music

The popular opinion seems to be that only carnatic based songs have the ability to last in one's heart forever in TFM.this is the reason as to why we hear ramanathan and IR's songs even after 20 years and they still sound fresh. but iam looking for MELODIOUS tamil film songs from all eras that are not even remotely based on carnatic or hindustani music, but that have made a great impact on us and has the lasting power.
do the foll. songs belong to that category?
1. putham puthu kaalai

2. endha poovilum vaasam undu

3. oru kungumach changamalam

  I wish to revive this topic as i feel that it has been missed the first time around.
  
  i have also been of the opinion that carnatic music based film songs have more lasting power. I might be wrong. iam awaiting the opinion of rajaraman, srikanth, geetha etc . inn this topic.
  i just wanted to know whether it is possible to give melodious songs in TFM without the slightest influence of carnatic music.some examples also from this regard.if i do not receive any responses

  First I think it's hard to define "not based on classical music". For e.g., I may see shades of a raga even in a vague song simply because it's based on that scale and classify it as "based on this raga".
  
  If we take it that the song not have any noticeable influence of classical music, I think one can quote many examples starting from the Mellisai Mannargal period.

  getting back to basics! what is music without sapthaswarams and whatever the form, they rely upon one combination or other. carnatic music has codified the structure and permits elaborate improvisation but within the prescribed limits whereas film music is not bound by the same rules. but the underlying principle is the same.
  
  if you find cine songs with a mix of 2 ragas you have a similar situation in carnatic like mohana kalyani where the arohanam is mohanam (sa ri ga pa da sa) and the avarohanam is kalyani (sa ri ga ma pa da ni sa).
  
  There are songs where the identification with a raga is not clearly dilineated but that would not make it devoid of influence. i am sure vijay is referring to such category of songs. one can find such songs in abundance in almost every movie.
  
  take the movie payanangal mudivadillai. vaikaraiyil is based on subapantuvarali whereas ilaya nila cannot be so easily identified. take pon malai pozhudu (nizhalgal) which is a wonderful depiction of kedaram but can one say surely the exact raga for madai thirandhu thavum nadhi alai than. perhaps the experienced can and for them there is no song which is exempt from the influence of carnatic music and in one sense they are also right.

  I think the song illam pani thoolir vidum neram ' from aradhanai ( same film where kunguma chengamalam is there) is one of the all time best.
  It was song by a singer called Radhika (the only song of hers: and not actress). Does any body have the real media file of the song

  I will go with badri's answer for the most part. But is it okay to say a song is not classical if the note order is not as in sa ri ga ma pa da ni ?? Or is it not possible to do such a composition at all ? I am not that music savvy so excume me if this is a silly question.
