101.3 CMR FM

Toronto has got its first (mainly) Tamil FM Station. Tune into 101.3FM to listen to the test braodcasts. U can send comment to them in the website cmr24.com

  A question about the current users of World Radio Receiver. Are you able to listen to the FM boradcasts from India (Radio Mirchi, Suryan FM etc?). If so will I be able to listen to them in the US? And lastly which model do you guys recommend. Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

  I have been listening regularly for the past few weeks ... its pretty good. The only issue seems to be too much interference with other stations .... hopefully that will be fixed when they move from test broadcast to official one ....
  
  Btw there is tamil, hindi and punjabi songs broadcast .... the best time to catch non-stop tamil songs is on sunday afternoons ....

  I listen to CMR regularly. Great job! I love the English broad cast on Saturdays and Sundays. The guy who does it has the sexiest voice ever. I love you Doctor Generous.

  CMR has filled up Communication GAP for South Asian community. Have heard quite a few programs so far.
  Dr. Sharda's program (3-5 PM M-F) will keep you glued :-)
  BAND-BAJA with Moin Jamal is a nice for listening to “hither-thither talk” and Oldies of Gramophone days.{Runs from 5-7 PM, M-F)
  
  Evening with Bhattee for Toronto-Pakistan is fun to listen.
  
  Just one suggestion for CMR24 to add links to the WEB pages of the individual PROGRAM WEB pages, It will help in browsing and get updated with the program schedules for the Lingo segments….

  They play malayalam songs on Saturdays from 9.30 to 10.30 in the morning called Mathura Geetham. The songs are very melodious. Good work 101.3 FM!

  They keep playing gaana music in the morning like from 8am to 9 am on weekdays~ I guess it's to wake the people up from their sleep or something haha.

  I enjoy your CMR Tamil FM programmes. But, it will be more enjoyable if you could also play few devotional songs and also songs from old films , which has more melody and moral meanings in it.
