I am not sure this has already been discussed/told in this thread.
I heard that, IR wants to release the symphony worldwide at the same time and he is not able to get a worldwide musical company banner to do this (importantly, for the price he is demanding)

What funny or fishy man? Did you read that article completely or not? Can't you make out that the writer is so passionate about IR's music that it looks like a good research study on IR and his music. Even after this if you are going find some thing fishy then God help you! With so many threads on similar topics may be he thought to bring the article to the attention of as much IR fans as possible. Don't doubt his good intentions.

If only IR had "genuinely" composed the "so-called" symphony in London, can't he release it forthwith? At least, can't he give us a reasonable answer? Getting a flight ticket to London, he enjoyed his boat ride in River Thames, and produced an "ulta" symphony for RPO. At least our Thenisai Thendral Sir, is doing the "ulta" thing in Tamilnadu. IR really crossed his limits. Now everytime someone asks about that, he gives a wishy-washy reply. More than that, the "IR Cymbals" are behaving like true "symbols of sychophancy" by trying to cover up their "Isaignani's" "Symphony Debacle". I do not care, if I am going to be mauled up at this thread for my comments.

It's sad for IR fans to argue about this to a
delusional individual such as DD.
Anyway all of us are waiting with bated breath for
the release of his Symphony.
I hope our patience will be rewarded.

IR failed...he gave room for elements like DD to ask questions, it is not the mistake of DD ---it is IR's mistake, it looks like he did not compose it....if so where the hell it is?
Others things you have put is all worthless argument, givea simple answer to a simple question, where is the symphony........
instead of wasting time talking about it.

Seattle Tamizan,
Can U list 10 points on why the symphony was not released. I throw an open challenge ....(latest fashion in the forum is to pose a chellenging qn like this and run away :-)

swami,
there is only one reason it's not going to be released. i don't need 10 reasons. the symphony WAS done/recorded in 1993. it's only contractual reasons that stop it. i've got photos and have talked to a musician who knew of the project and related info. he thinks IR should do the recording, conducting etc... i india with indian musicians to get over contractual problems.

swami,
also, see to that there is no "movement" in the "background" :-))
rAjan bAlA,
here is the answer. the article was good, at first. the article didn't say much, imo, but it was a good one. it was posted in some other thread some time back and there were some comments about it (rather, praises for it, well deserved) in that thread. the same article appears again in a different thread within a short period. now, i wonder why? was the author really trying to raise a point or was he doing a back-handed lobby for his efforts. and hiding behind a generic name like irf01 was very suspicious. we have seen so many people post so many polemical articles using a nontrackable name. my question was about the motives of the author. second, there was no authenticity. it was mentioned that the thamizh translation appeared in Anantha vikatan but when? who translated it? who was the original author? was irf01 the original author or was someone else? maybe it didn't appear in vikatan. following st, if it did, where is the correct reference? since irf01 didn't provide, i was wondering if he was using the name "vikatan" to attribute some legitimacy to the article. now you see why the second posting seemed fishy.
anyways, irf01 is, as i understand, a good music listener and critic. i sent a mail to him just to verify the "truth" of his email id and got back a reply with his original name. i only wish he gives the full account of the article. he has "donated" quite a few articles to drbAlAji who maintains an excellent site on IR. the link to his site can be found in the "new page of rare hits of ir" thread.
oh, i forgot to mention this. because of a few belligerent and self-professed gnAnis of music (i cannot use the name isaignAni-s because of obvious reason :-)) ) in this DF, it IS a taboo to say anything good about IR. kaNNadhAsan once wrote "un nilamai konjam iRangi vandhAl (un) nizhalum kUda midhikkum". that's what is happening here. it should obvious why such a second posting of a potentially controversy-raising article seemed fishy to me.

aruL,
You too aruL?....I was hoping that at least you would be objective in your post. While your conclusion that it IS a taboo to post anything good about IR, I find the same case in posts about ARR. You make one innocent, genuine, objective comment about either, immediately there are 'interest groups' starting with (mostly stupid and ignorant) comments about how one is superior/infereior than the other. I really wish that when you mentioned about your frustration regarding the IR posts, you would have included ARR too. I am really expecting a satisfactory 'confirmation' from you.
