Discussion of The SPB Album 'Old songs sung again'

You might call it re-sung. I heard it years ago in dhool.com but thanks to http://www.mohankumars.com i could hear in mp3. Would like to hear what you guys think of each song..and whats your favorite..

For me SPB is the favourite and in this album my facourite is 'Nilave Ennidam Nerunkathae..' (originally by PBS)...

  KL, I liked 'nilave ennidam' and also 'oru naal podhuma'. SPB gave a different flavour for that song. In fact all the songs in that CD are great.

  I don't know if there are any more such albums. There could be more but I haven't seen any in music stores other than this one CD..

  Nilave ennidam & Oru naal pothuma was excellent, infact better than the orginal versions by the respectable Dr.PBS and Dr.BMK, but DR.SPB always improvises on any given song!

  when you say 'but DR.SPB always improvises on any given song!', you meant good or bad? I think SPB is great when it comes to improvising, especially in live shows. Only he can do that.. it will come in as a plesant surprise..
