S.V. Ramdas is dead

S.V. Ramdas is an old time "sidey" who passed away recently. Given the right breaks, he could have emerged as a worthy successor to PS Veerappa or Nambiar.
Here is a quiz question. AFAIK, SV Ramdas had only one song in his entire career. Does anyone know that song? (I had asked this question 4-5 years back in a thread and several old timers knew the answer. :-))

  Wonderful villain but had the courage to do cameo roles in Uryarndha manidhan(Shivaji's Father)
  Nalla neram(MGR's father) etc..

  Bhoori are you counting SV Ramdass's dialogue" intha pavazha thivin adimaigal migundha uzxaipaaligall aanal vaai thaan konjam neellam" or words to that effect in between " en enra kelvi" in AO as a song!
  Ramdass ' voice was unique but he sadly never made it to the first line of baddies.

  please stop using the word DEAD...for someone respectable...
  it is used for animals, or some criminals...
  
  if u were to pay tribute to someone...then use the phrase "PASSED AWAY"...
  
  settutar and irantuttar refers to 2 diff meaning.

  He is one decent man with good habits. I remember one of his interview in Vijay TV where he said that he longed for better roles but people only gave him vllan role and asked him to rape heroines...So after some time when ever a call rings in his house, his wife used to ask him " innikku yaara kedukkanumaa,..?"....It was humourous but inside thise lines a sorrow was clinging which said that this good actor was not used properly.

  He was a good character actor who could emote the feelings well as required by the scene. MGR gave him good support with roles. His acting talents have been essentially lost to this generation some 5 yrs ago. It is only his mortals that have left us now. May His soul rest in peace!

  Saravanan, I didn't know about the Kuzhandhaikkaga. In fact, this was a solo song with P.B. Srinivas as the voice.
