For a change, instead of bashing MDs, I suggest a topic where one Music Director sang a song in other Music Director's composition.
MSV has sung a song in Karuvelam Pookkal
whose MD is IR. This I feel brings the fans of two groups together.
MSV sang a song in Sangamam whose MD is ARR.
Is there any other instances of two MDs working together?

Kannil Theriyum Kadhaigal music was done by
5 Music Directors, namely K.V. Mahadevan, G.K. Venkatesh, T.R. Papa, Ilayaraaja, and Shankar-Ganesh.
Each of them composed a song for that film.

SPB had sung under many MDs (remember SPB is also a MD) :-)
so is Malysia Vasudevan :-)
now that PS had MDed for some album, she has also sung under many MDs :-)
Ganghai Amaran has sung for Deva.....
and iam not sure, but can some one get this movie.... there was this time when R.Sunderrajan as a director was a major hit (Vaidhegi Kathirundhal time).... the movie which came after that was not by IR, but some other MD (was it MSV?).... and IR sung a song on it.....
and MSV has sung this song "Messu kissu kanda viswanadhanada" (kaadhal Mannan?), don't know who the MD is....

Gangai Amaran sang in the movie"Kaliyugam" music scored by Chandrabose. The song goes like this
"Adutha Veettu Sothai Ammukka Ninaithavan".

Can Suresh peters come in this list?
He sang under ARR(chikku bhukku) and then composed music for one sarath kumar-meena movie.
I remember a couple of songs-Poo poova poo poova puthirukku bhoomi and kattu katta noteirukku.
Does anyone know which movie is this?

if SPB. MV, SJ, PS and Suresh Peter were included, then include TMS, VJ and SJ also.
Better let it be original MDs. Not singers to MD.

TMS was the MD for the films 'Bhalap paritchai starring Muthuraman and sujatha' and I suppose the for the film 'Kallum kaniyagum' with the beautiful number"Kai viralil pirandadu nadam' also TMS was the MD.
Malaysia Vasu has also two films 'Golusu' and 'Samanthipoo- last film of Shobha'
The film in which IR sang for MSV is 'Sugamana ragangal'.

In a devotional album, Kannanukku Dhassan Kanna Dhasan, (released in 1985), IR has song - Naadi Vandha Selvam Thannai' musiv by MSV.
The beauty ofthis album is - All the songs, written by Kanna Dhassan (before 1981), were selected and tuned by MSV (released by AVM Audio) - The same casette was released again two years ago by Sony.

Recently met the incomparable genius malayalam composer M.K.Arjunan, because i believe he has composed the most mystical ethereal melodies of all time. (I had heard many a song of his, but never knew most were his, until after the meeting i decided to open my old collection! ) Honestly, this man is beyond the most beatific!
Unsurpassed melodious and difficult pallavis of the most perfect order. Anyway, he did only 150 movies in the time of the an equally legendary, G.Devarajan (composed around 250 films). MKA told me, IR and Gangai Amaran both were in his orchestra.
A MKA song from Picnic (all songs in this movie were super hits and extraordinary.)
