  as far as Hariharan's PLAY BACK SINGING is concerned,he does not deserve more than perhaps a 70!, Jeyachandran, TMS, PBS, even MV to certain extent are far better than Hariharan,

  RAFI has got an extremely flexible voice. To me his best song (National Award song) is "Oh Duniya Ke Rakhwale (Baiju Bawara)" in the raga "DARBARI KANANDA". It's really touching deep in the heart. Also, the extreme high notes at the end of the song (in 5 levels) is amazing!. Maybe for this reason, this song hasn't been reproduced in many stage shows except by RAFI.

  I agree with you , esp abou Dr.S.Govindarajan, till date, no body has out performed him the Devotional side. but Kovai Soundararajan is Xerox copy of TMS.
