I heard D. Imaan's "Kathal Swasam", starring Karthik and Meena, music was released. Has anyone heard the songs? How are they? Any good?

  I had a chance to listen one song from 'kaadhale swaasam'..'sokkudhe kaadhal sokkudhu' sung by chitra and ..hold your breath sonu nigam :).
  The song had everything that you can expect from a young MD heavily influenced by others..good beats, accented tamil, vague lyrics sprinkled with english lines

  Sonu Nigam already sang in tamil in Jeans (Vaaraayo Thozhi), Isnt' it ?
  
  Bharadway copied the tune into 'Poovee punnagai kaattu' from Paarththaen Rasiththaen and Sonu Nigam again came and sang this song too.,
  
  So, whats the big deal about him singing in KSw ? I don't understand !

  imman is certainly has got some talent but he must stop overexposing himself over interviews and over publicity over the television. his works must speak more than himself.he hasnt even had a single hit and he gives interviews as if he is Ilayaraja or Rehman.

  I agree Anjali.For all the hype we have heard about Imaan,I had very high expectations for him.But the songs turned out to be a let down.Nothing to write home about.

  Definitely Kadhale Swasam album is worth a buy!!! Considering its his first movie, i am definitely happy at the way he has come out...For a guy still in his teens, his recording quality, mixing and orchestration is stunning!!! Because for many MDs it took years and years to get this level...i am talking abt the recording quality he has come up with!!! The music is crystal clear...But all i am worried is with actors like karthik, meena, kutti padmini's daughter and a new guy in the lead role and kutti padmini's husband Prabhu Nepal himself Directing it, the chances for the movie to be a blockbuster are very very slim!!! Hope that doesn't affect the MD Imaan.

  I have been listening to two songs (Machi Kadalachu & Summa Iru)of D Imaan from Khadale Swasam very often for the last 8 months. Both are excellent and to me they are superhits. My three year old daughter Sona, likes the song Summa Iru and sings along. I am trying to get the cd. I am very very sure Mr. D Imaan will give us more superhit songs.
