  I read somewhere that Udhaya is shelved and Star has the songs from some hindi film of ARR. KR mudive panniteenga. Amam why Anandam is under great expectations (musicwise or storywise)?

  let the rumour mills rolls...but should not with contradictory factor. a simple theorem proof to explain my theory
  
  When SAR uses a tune in a film then its the theme music for the film (imho his music is the fittest music to be called as FILM THEME MUSIC coz the music in film never deviate or change from its theme). In such a situation, if a song is tuned in that film then obviously all the other songs plus the so-called SAR BGM in that film(atleast 5 more films that follow) will be tuned by that tune. If this is the case there is nothing called as "fresh tune" in SAR films. "fresh tune of SAR" sounds oxymoron, like 1=2. Hence the theorem.

  As far as film music goes, I am eagerly waiting for 'Badhri' to release. It has the music of Ramana Gogula. This is his first tamil film but he has done a handful of telugu films. I must say that his music can be both melodious and youthful. He did 'Gulabi' where the music was a hit. One song won the filmfare award for singer Suneetha, it goes like 'Ee velalo'. Then Premante Idera songs are real good. The melody in this was great. And the songs were great, with SPB/Chithra combo leading. Thammudu has an entirely youthful feel. This is coming as Badhri in tamil. I don't know if he will use the same music but I am eager to get ahold of the album.

  Gulabi was by a one-film-wonder 'Sashi Preetam'.

  In the list I'd also include Bavatharini's debut in the Revathy film being shot in the US now, for whatever its worth!
  
  Ramana Gogula...I'm not sure how much he can make an impact in TN. Manisharma is the composer who's ruling the roost in AP and his entry into a direct tamil film will be something to watch out.
  
  Any more big IR movies on the anvil??
  
  I wouldnt call Gulabi a terrific album entirely. 'class roomulo' was a superb number with Hariharan at his best and some great fusion. 'beat in my heart' was another good number. But a few slower numbers like 'ee rojaithey' were terrible. Yes it was by the one film wonder sasi preetham!

  Oops...sorry about that. Gulaabi was by Sasi Preetham. It was Premante Idera, I think, that was his debut film. Yep, Manisharma is the leading composer in Telugu but that is probably because Ramana Gogula doesn't do many albums. I hear he is quite busy with his software company. But I think, excepting Yuvaraju...all his other films had pretty appealing music.

  ManiSharma is doing a direct tamil film - 'Narasimha', A defenite addition into this list.
  
  Bhavadharini's movie Karthik has mentioned is 'Achcham Thavir' in tamil and 'My Friend' in English.

  BTW, Manisharma's entry into the film music scene was very unique! After his disastrous debut in 'Super heroes' his first hit song was 'Pellikala vachesinde bala' from the Venkatesh - Anjala starrer 'Preminchkundaam ra'. Interstingly Mahesh was the music director of that movie who fell ill when mani was asked to do this number! Mani scored just one song and that became a massive success.
  
  Another angle to this is that Mani had lifted that only song he composed for that movie from a song 'eke eke' by an African singer Mory Kante. It was also used the way it was in Agneepath (Amitabh and Mithun) as a background piece by LP!
  
  And Sasi Preetham's new film is out...its called 'rave naa cheliya'. Gotto know from someone that he's the hero of the movie as well...not sure though!!!
