  Shankar Mahadevan's Neeya pesiyathu is a classic one.

  k after hearing em again I like 3 songs outta the lot.
  
  The spb song which i had said was the only good one before is the only one that gets u on the first hearing.
  
  Then i like Theemthanka, watched the trailor this song is a great dance number because it not only has vijay but also choreographer lawrence so it is very nicely done.

  If this movie gets to fare decently, "neeya pesiyadhu" will probably be in the charts for a while. This is in the mould of "enna solla pogirai" but even better. A very good tune,rendered well by ShankarM and grand orchestration as well. Fleeting resemblance to "vaarayen thozhiye"(Arasiyal) is there (partly due to the 7-beat structure) though. Vidyasagar has delivered some winners this year, "aalam kuyil" (Parthiban kanavu) being the previous one.

  Thaamtaka (Vijay dances with lawrence in this song, in the preview dance steps look really good),
  thimsukattai ( picturized at europe , tippu voice is good),
  vadiyamma ( good dabankuttu song)
  
  Seems like this movie is produced by K.balachander daughter. It will be interesting to see if this movie is going to be success at box office like Vikram's "Saami".

  Azhagooril and Neeya pesiayadhu are excellent...
  Wov.. what a sweet rendition by our SPB in Azagooril song ...His voice is getting sweeter song by song... Neeya pesiyadhu is an amazing melody too.. But Vidyasaga watchout ... people here easily realize how much u r influenced by Ismail Darbar's Hum Dil De CHuke Sanam on this particular song.Anyway shankar mahadevan has done a great job.But the popular vote goes with Azhagooril which is a close competitor to Ilangaathu from Pithamagan, which tops the chart in the Diwali release.

  The songs are good. The only thing that sucks is Vijay himself. Cant he damn well open his damn mouth when he speaks. No facial expression at all. At least the other heros are better off than Vijay. Vijay needs to improve a lot.
