K.V. Mahadevan Passes Away

Twice national award winner K.V. Mahadevan passed away at a private hospital in Chennai, at the age of 83.
A native of Nagarcoil (I always thought he was a native of Andhra Pradesh), he is reported to have composed music for nearly 1500 movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. His carnatic based light music compositions are still some of my all time favourite. This is a great loss for the music world. We should all pay tribute to this great Indian musician.

  One small clarification GV...
