Can IR be compared to KR or YSR?

  As of now, KR and YSR are there in the industry for the only reason that their father is IR! and it would take a long time for them to establish themselves and come of out their father's shadow and prove their talent to the world.
  
  As a MD, they cant even be talked about in any league of IR.. not even with the earlier yester years of IR!

  I am new to this forum and find this topic interesting. In my opinion, it is not proper to compare IR with KR or YSR. Because IR is highly experienced, whereas these 2 are just exploring the field. Also I don't think whether these 2 guys will get the oppurtunities got by IR to show their best.
  
  Because during the time of IR, there were so many good directors like Bharathiraja, Balachandar, Mahendran, BaluMahendra, Bagyaraj, Muthuraman etc. to get the best out of IR. So IR also got the chance to do all sorts of experiments and could give varieties in his music. (Eg. Salangai Oli, Sippikkul Muthu, Punnagai Mannan etc. in which he has scored entirely diff. kind of music) It is doubtful whether KR or YSR will get that kind of oppurrunities.

  The only such combo I've heard is "Thendralae Nee Paesu Un Kangalaal Nee Paesu". A somber love song tailor-made for PBS by IR. It sounds similar in mood and music to "Udhayageetham Paaduvaen Uyirgalai Naan Thoduvaen". It ranks with the best of PBS, you should definitely not miss it if you're a PBS fan.
