What happened to Minmini of Chinna Chinna Aasai?

Any idea what happend to the singer with the mesmerizing voice in Roja. She has not sung any song under ARR after that? why?

  She had throat problem for a few years after roja and had to undergo surgery. By the time she got back to the field, she lost all the opportunities.
  
  There is a rumour that Swarnalatha invited Minmini to her house for a dinner. The very next day she got this throat problem. Coincidence ? ;-)

  Hey she sang one more song for ARR after Chinna Chinna aasai, I found her name in the GENTLEMAN audio tape, in the song, "PAARKATHEY PANJAGATHTHA PAAR..." in GENTLEMAN. (SHANKAR).
