What a movie!!! VKR's best of all his movies i've watched. Very casual - the pre climax scene where he invites his younger brother for his son's marriage alone is enuf. The scenes were well written and I don't know if current directors/writers can manage half a good product. The scene in which Seetha's liking for Pandian is showcased with that height match technique.. Neenga palaiya Pandiarajanaa varanum sir..

The famous Kamal-Ambika scene that comes AFTER 'nilA kAyudhu' in SKV (the 'kuLuru vittuppOchchu' scene)

    What a lovely BGM

Don't expect extra-special BGM like the silukku portions of moonRAm piRai...SKV's KH-chEchi portions are basically variances of the famous songs (iLamai idhO idhO / nilA kAyudhu / katta vaNdi etc) but rAsA has some playful kuRumbu methods there...

Raattinam is a little known movie released early this year. Comprising new actors and technicians, I wouldnt have known abt the movie if not for our local TV channel.
Usual teenage/college love story, but very naturally portrayed. Actor was chosen from Facebook it seems but he has done a convincing job. However the same cannot be said of the lead actress.
Anyway, the twist in the end is absolutely lovely and a shocking moment for many - for its total closeness to reality.
Do try to watch, if you can.
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!
