An encounter with IR

Guys,
I was able to have a tete-de-tete with IR at prasad studios.My cousin plays tabla for him.I sneaked with him to the studio and had a 30 mins talk with IR.The topics ranged from GURU to the current trends.
A mention of GURU really brightnend his eyes and IR told me that they did'nt market it alright.
They spent 25 days for re-recording and it was a herculean task.
I also brought in TFM to his knowledge and he seems to be aware of this forum ,"Kelvi pattuiruken".
I told him about the BGM project and following was his reaction in tamil ."Pannalam.Aanal orginal tracks thedi pedikunum".Nalla project".I also asked opinions with sadanand(music director sudarshan's son) ,who is IR's lead guitarist for 20 years.He liked the idea but was wary of copyright problems.
I just came back from chennai after a 2 month vacation.
The BGM project is really exciting.We have to contact individual production companies for the soundtracks.I gave it a shot with raj kamal but could'nt get hold of Kamal.Somebody will have to do the leg work at chennai .we can really pull it off.

  Guys! This is all good news, but don't forget that there are netters like me who has been listening to IR's Telugu and Tamil compositions (although I don't understand Tamil very well) all my life and can't get enough of it. I would appreciate if you tend to use more english than Tamil just for the reson that I would be able to get more info. on IR. There are many netters like me who regularly visit DF trying to get as much news about 'Isaignani'. This will give us an opportunity to know the world of IR too! Thanks!

  PS: As we were walking out of prasad studios I saw Deva's fort and wondered what an irony that two human beings with such contrasting

  though short, i read u'r article without even blinking for a second! don't worry about deva's fort being nearby. it would serve as a 'dhrishti'
  filter for raja!!!
  
  sad to know more usage of computers and keybords.
  just for the sake of raja, i wish these things were not invented at all!!! ( ...pondering for a moment, i wonder what a statement i have made in my fanaticism for his original music!!)

  Great and Kudos. I wish i were in your place. I couldnt blink while reading your page, and the photograph was wonderful, could see Raja staring at my eyes directly. WOW..!!!, Would have been better if u could have watched him orchestrate the music and written more about that.   Great work, Raja looks more bright than before in the photograph.
  How was feeling when you talk to this man, I have felt it,My feellings when I met Raja few years ago: My blood pressure went litle high, my heart was beating more, My mind stopped thinking about music. No questions came to my mind for sometime,

  Guys,
  Symphony crossed my mind but did'nt want it to be inquisitive.Guess,did'nt have the guts.He could have gotten offended.Having waited for so long,we might as well wait for some more time.
  
  But I did gather some tidbits on symphony.
  Symphony was conducted in a church in the outskirts of London.People who played it wanted a personal copy of the notations as they were taken aback by the complexity.It has major influences of some carnatic scales.Also, they were so impressed that they played thru once more in a recording theater with due consent from IR.
  These are second hand information from very reliable sources from the music industry.
