Surprising! Even after 10years, ARR still a kid in BGM. Even in his latest KM, BGM lacks a lot. Especially in the scenes where the BGM need to lift the scene. Does his musical talent is LIMITED only to the songs or his CREATIVITY misses something whenever it comes to BGM or does he need MUCH MORE TIME to compose it? Yeah, i agree perceptions differ. Lets see how it goes.....

isaiosai, r u telegu as well?
great! what have i done! given 'godfather' another reason to hass me.;-)
rajaG, it started in my birth certificate, under dialect group. but dont tell me u've never seen telegu spelled tat way. it's so common.
yaaro, i wasnt implying u didnt know nuts. jus giving u a worst case-scenario.:-) anyway, u can help me by giving me some online telegu lessons. first, how do u say HCIRF in telegu?

>> but dont tell me u've never seen telegu spelled tat way. it's so common.<<
That's the problem !! Without even knowing the facts ppl come to conclusions !!! THis is the first time I am hearing such a spelling !! and u say it's common...common where ?? may be in ur house at the max (no offense meant...u can't be blamed if the cert says so)
But what needs to be noted here is that, without even trying to substantiate ur claim, u come out with such statements.
I'm not complaining...just an observation.

S, wat r u so upset about???
I have seen telegu spelled that way a hundred times...accepted telugu is also used commonly, in fact more commonly used. but i thought telegu was the right way to spell it. So i was surprised no one was familiar with tat. but why r u getting so agitated about?
for example when there r any telegu movies shown on tv (in spore), they will list it as "telegu movie" (at least when i was there). in forms wit lists, where u need to circle ur dialect grp, it is given as telegu. i cant sit and recall every other instance when i've seen 'telegu' all my life and write it down here.
have a look here: http://www.xrefer.com/entry/444150
if u want more examples, go to some search site and do a search for "telegu". u'll come across more examples.

Umm.. 'digressing' to the topic instead, which I beleive was on ARR's supposedly poor BGM, or lack thereof, Saran.. buddy, with all due respect, have you ever thought of cleaning out your ears with a cotton bud ? Once you've done that.. try listening.. "LISTENING" to the movie 'Dil Se' or Alai Payuthey'.. play it on.. and just listen to the movie buster.. perhaps you'd be able to give us a better judgement on ARR's BGM abilities..

I just watched a videoclip of Kannathil MuthamittAL. I should commend ARR for doing a great job with the BGM. He has executed it using his strong melody making skills. But one thing, I can't but help notice, is the difference between him and IR. IR seems to be doing a totally WCM orchestration - very polyphonic - more than one thread of music at any time. I hope people understand and appreciate these differences before jumping to discuss who is the best.

WN: Frankly, I have never seen telugu spelt as telegu (with the intention of correctly spelling it) except here by you. It is phonetically telugu so I don't see how you can substitute with an e. But then, I have not seen 'that' spelt as tat either :-) Must be a Singapore thing :-) chEy! indha kusumba vida mudiyaliyE.

Did anyone see Saathiya? i saw alai payuthe a long time back and don't remember the BGM score for that film. But the last 30 minutes of Saathiya proves that ARR's BGM is still bad after 10 years.
