  Paarthen Sirithen is from Veera Abhimanyu scored by KVM. The MDs for Mannathi mannan were MSV-TKR. Paal vannam paruvam kandu is from "Paasam" scored by MSV-TKR.

  Here are my favourite. It was definitely not fun to select just three songs for each music director.
  KVM.
  1)Paatum Naane Bavamum Naane ( Thiruvilayadal).
  I will listen to this song umpteen number of times and still not get bored. The start is very ordinary.( imagine you are listening to this song). But the next second the song simply explodes and takes you to a different plane.
  One of my relatives told me that no one has done music direction for Bhakthi padams like KVM.
  2)Oru Naal Poduma ....
  From the same movie. The same goes for this song too. Too good. BMK, the lyrics and the music.
  3)Nalandana , Nalandhana from Thillana Mohanambal.
  Everything about this song is good.

  1)Malarndum Malarada Paadi Malar Pola.
  Excellent thallattu padal. Just for the lyrics alone you can listen to this song so many times.
  2)Malaip pozhudin Mayakathile naan.....
  Too good a song.
  3)Kamban emandhan..
  this song was very popular and adikkadi vivida baradila oli parappuvanga when i was in my second or third standard. Most of the times this used to be the last song. around 9.30 AM. I get very nostalgic when i listen to this song. It simply carries back me to the good old days .

  Inda song muda murai ketta pode pidithu vittadhu. After a long time , i got this recorded last year only.Till that time i listened to this song only in Radio or oliyum oliyum.
  2)AZHAGIYA KANNE, URAVUGAL NEEYE....
  again romba nalla paattu. Anda padathukku ettha song. nalla music, nalla lyric and nalla padi vera irukkanga.
  3)Thenral vandu theendum podu.
  Unmayileye, inda song ketta podu, manasula chillunnu oru feeling. adhu vivarikka mudiyadadhu.

  Once when i was going to Bangalore, i heard this song in a tea stall at 1.30 in the morning. just the sound of the vehicles travelling and this song.Actually some one has already talked about the merits of the song. So let me leave it there.

  Even though i have all the songs mentioned above in my collection,bus la travel pannum bodu illa engayavadu pogum bodu namakku pidicha pattu oru rendu vari katrula midandhu varum. enga irundu varadhunum theriyadu. Ninnu ketkavum time irukkadhu. adutha vari ellam manasula padindu ...Ayyo andha anubavam..anu bavichu irukkanum ya.
  that is one of the things i miss very much after having come out of tamilnadu.

  Ramana, I really enjoyed your posting. It seems you moved Bharat enough to start a thread about "chinna chinna aasaigal". Please don't hold back on how something moves you. Often this page turns into academic postings, it needs more emotion such as yours. Also, if you haven't visited the permanant thread "Songs that emotionally moved us".
