KavipErarasu VM Is it insulting Kannadasa?

Hi,

How could Vairamuthu be called KavipErarasu? How could he be compared with great Kannadasan? Who has authority to select some body like this?

  Is this Title "KavipErarasu" given by some Institution or organisatin or by Government. Or is it the Movie-makers who have started using this title in front of his name in the movies. Either way, he does not deserve it. He can never ever be compared with a legend like Kannadasan. He might have written good songs, but he is not worth calling "Kavi Perarasu" and for that matter he can't be even called "Kavi Chitrarasu".
