  AlliArjuna...Director...Saran...Hero...Manoj...
  Manoj's Kadalpookal,directed by his fater was ready for last Deepavali release and his fath er bagged Best screenplay award for this film, national level still not released due to want of buyers.... So the release of AlliArjuna is delayed eventhough this film was also ready by January itself....Both films may hit screen next month.....A.A.

  Heard Laggan fully..great work by ARR....of course can't say it's his best...but one important aspect is that credits given in the album cover (tape)..you can find also the lyrics as well as the main cast and crew to empahsize the point that the whole thing was a team effort....I think this is a very positive step taken and should be made the industry standard for any film released....

  I just read this article in indiainfo.com about ARR. It said that Arr is getting arrogant day by day.. Does not give as much attention to Tamil films as he gives to Bollywood!!!! So tamil dir's are giving him a miss... wat u guys havt to say about this??? Are we going miss all his Tamil hits??? This what happened to IR... Seems history is repeating itself!!!!!!!   I think AA had an attack of 'foot in the mouth 'disease there-what he was trying to say was the songs of Lagaan were based on TN folk songs-he has inadvertently added that 'old'-and in the process let the cat out of the bag!

  As I am yetto f amili arise with the full lyrics of the songs of Lagaan I use LaLaLa ....Na na na ....
  type humminngs when I sing Lagaan songs...People around me say I am singing or humminng some Gramathu folk tunes.....Hence I am sure it must be tuned for Tamil Gramathu Kathai very well going for their type of folk music also... .

  I thought AA was referring to kizakku cheemaiyilE/karuthamma number in lagAn !! Maybe its ARRs strategy is to do northindian folk for tamil songs and tamil folk for hindi songs. It must be one of his 'novelty' strategies :)

  bb, my memory failed me ..it was just a humming at the beginning and end of the Lagaan title track by Anuradha Sriram which I heard on raaga.com. It is not a full fledged song.

  Good news for ARR fans
  
  Udhayaa is going very well now! After the production problems for 2 years, they are at it again. Vijay says that this movie is going to be turning point in his whole career. Azhagaperumal(Dumm Dumm Dumm) directs the movie and the music is by ARR. This is big plus point. The movie will be out by July.

  Is Dumm Dumm Dumm a failure or a hit at the box office?
  tamilcinema.com rates it as the No:1 movie now, but rahmanonline.com says that it's a failure

  If Dumm Dumm Dumm was a failure, the producer would not have bothered to revive the project. Even if the argument was, the movie was revived for Vijay, his latest movie Badri is a failure.

So Mani is all set to launch his new film on June 10th, whose story is a closely guarded secret.   DUMDUMDUM is a major hit in all A,B,CC centres...
  Some said earlier Tenali was Flop but was a massive hit....DumDUM....is a Big success...You can see this fact in the nearby theatre....
  Vijay is reviving Udaya mainly to have a Hit after Badri's debacle at Box office...
  Sun and Raj TVS are Vijay friendly and showing Badri as NO1 in the first week but soon will join Vijaytv and Jaya tv to declare Dum...is NO1.
