These credits, more than anything........
Perhaps a small story, I could pin point it in here! Most people may have seen, 'Guru sisyan'. It is a typical Rajanikanth(RK) movie. Pirabu also co-starred with RK in it! The film was a big hit and in the 100th day of celebrations, fans of RK and Pirabu fight over one thing! Some fans were really hurt! The dispute was:
En pirabu mattum sandai pidithar, engalin
thalaivar mattum summa irukka.
I don't see any difference between here the one happend before!

I don't see any foolhardiness abt discussing/debating their music !

People argue here about the music of ARR and IR and NOT about their personal relationships or whatever.!! Just b'cos they are good friends or business pals, does'nt mean that we should'nt debate/discuss/criticise abt their music compositions!!

What else is a TFM-DF for .?? Just my thoughts !!

well said Ravi..also I would like to add that as long as they discuss about music of ARR and IR it will be well taken. But many a times we have seen discussions going beyond this boundary and people arguing senselessly about their stupid cats and dogs which is what really ticks me off.

I feel that most of the times we do have level headed discussions around here. Sometimes, just sometimes, the border is crossed and that leads to lot of acrimony. Sensible debating is healthy for both the fans and if they come to know of it, the artists too.

Ravi

Duplication is a business deal. When a die-hard fan gets to know such things, its shock and surprise as well!! Nags was such.

But for such tiffs, there is no tfm(page) per se, now.

In any case, "pAtti" kadhai pEsAmal IR-ARR debate related to TFM is evvaLavO better.

Example:

"un photo anuppu"
"un vayasu yenna?"
"nAn nalla uyaram"

Thanks. Have not listened to KK yet. Better than MVU? Oooh! I am already floating!? The audio cassette is on its way to my address. Only IR can define/redefine standards/parameters! NO ONE ELSE!

Get to dinakaran.com and you can find the news about kannAththAL. It seems the movie is a big crowd puller - thAikkulam:) The songs are very good it seems!

I liked 'amman pugazhai paada' from kannAthaaL very much. There are two versions one by IR and one by Bava. Bava has also done a good job, but IR kuralla irukkira serenitiy, oru amaithi Bava version-la illa. I wasn't too impressed by the other songs, prob. needs another listen or two.

In one of the cine-bits in a recent weekly magazine (I'm not sure whether it is Kumudham or Vikatan) SAR had said that he is composing one Amman song for a forth-coming movie. The speciality of the song is, he will not use any usual Urumi or other Amman Song stuff. When I read it I only laughed as IR had done such things already. Even in kannAthAl, these 2 songs are entirely different and excellent ones!!

But, I am sure, this will also get unnoticed by our medias as usual!!! Hmmmmm.....

Hi,

IR is composing music for Paarthiban's new film "Housefull". It is, as claimed by the director (Paarthibandhaan), a suspense thriller like 'Speed' or 'Kurudhippunal', and there will be no songs. He is supposed to have told in an interview that, "In such thriller films BGM is very important and my choice was isai@IR to do the job perfectly". How I wishes IR to compose music for the film "Kurudhippunal". Mahesh did a good job in that film, but I really missed the great IR in that movie. Any latest update on "Housefull" as to when the movie will be released, etc.

Hi Guys,
I happened to hear the thalaimurai songs from SHIBU's page.
I am an ardent fan of IR.
But i was surprised to see the songs in that movie belowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww than the average hits of Deva.
Am i the odd man out? Do you guys liked those songs?
