  1. Is there a website for 'Bharathy' movie ?
  2. Can admn/someone pls take the pain of giving all the links to the 'Bharathy' movie reviews (Kumudham, AV, web magazines etc.) in just one posting ? Because these have appeared on various days during the discussions in this thread.

  ok, might be redundant news for makkal back home.. But bharathi is making waves in TN... Everyone I talked to in Madras told me that everybody ( as in not only the usual bunch of HCIRFs )is talking about raaja's music in bharathi, and his bgm fundas etc...

  If it so why then most of the internet sites we see the top ten doesnt have bharathy in it,are they being partisan ?
  I think we have to give some more time ,lets wait and see,well as usual the album cover and slip notes are so poor in the casette when will IR influence people with proper good PR God knows
  dont u guys agree ?
  Look at HMV made a big hype for Rhythm duped everyone by saying it is a platinum jubliee

  go to chennaionline and see the list of theatres where the movie is running(hardly two weeks since release - max one month)... it is running 3 shows in devibala (smalles theatre i can think of) and noon show in three theatres.
  
  maakallukku arive kidayathu.....Indians - particularly tamilians don't know how to appreciate good stuff.
  
  No wonder Raja hasn't got much recognition after so much work and creativity and......

  Guys didnt i tell you before.
  Tamilians taste has gone down to the lowest ebb.
  I mean it has reached the rock bottom.
  They cant seem to appreciate good stuff,if this is the plight of Bharathy then think about the future generation,why i think most of the youngsters wouldnt know who is bharathi,i think thats why the movie is a commerical disaster,i mean thinking in the youngsters view,why should we see such movies there is no vulgar dance sequence no bloody fight, no double meaning joke
  its really boring..
  Really I pity the tamilians poor taste...
  God help young tamilians..
  All the efforts of the Bharathy team,and IR works goes down the drane. No wonder IR is afraid to release his symphony
  because he know Kazhudaikku theriuma Karpoora Vasani ,I mean the tamilians.. :(
  Sad indeed!!
  I think ARR should scored the music atleast producer would have made some money on casettes rights!!
  But hats off to this team who made is valiant effort in bringing bharathy onto the silver screen

  If you have already seen that movie ,kindly let us know ur personal comments as how you feel and rate the movie bharathy.
  I dont know wether any theaters in US is running that movie,i would like to see the movie in the theater than in some cheap camera print in VCR

  A slightly different, critical review.
  I think, the reviewer is not that impressed with the movie than the other reviewers. The review is also a superfluous one. not going into the deep of the movie.

  I guess that the director of the film might have expected the fiasco of the film Bharathy. May be - he directed the film for a national award. Blaming the ppl is of no use. Ppl expect only externatining films - and not films like Hey Ram and Bharathy. The taste has changed drastically.
  So failure of the films means no loss to the

  You need not worry., This website seems to be another rediff.com when it comes to News.,
  
  Bharathiraja is doing 'Kadal PookkaL' with Deva. Singer 'Sathya' is introduced in this movie only. News uNmaithaan., But not about the so called 'Maanasthan'., 'Kadal PookkaL' is a Sivasakthi Pandian movie (Kaathal koottai fame) and Obviouly, Deva was the MD from day one. (BRkku Gaanaa paattu picturise paNNanumnnu aasai vanthaa naama enna seyya mudiyum ? ;-)))

  "Ninnai charanadaindhaen" - by Bombay Jayashree is not based on Hamsanandhi but 'Panthuvaraali', on the same lines of 'rojaavai thaalaattum thendral', "puththam pudhu poo poothadho' from Dalapathi, 'Vaazhkai odam sella aatril neerottam illai' from Aval Appadiththaan, 'sandhanam poosa manjal nilaavum' from Thudikkum karangal, 'Vandhanam enn vandhanam' from Vaazhvey maayam - very soulfully rendered by her.
