Hi guys,lets dicuss on the best composition from each & every Md's in TFM ,let me show u what i think the best from these Md :

1.A.R.Rahman = Pennala Pennala - Uzhavan
2.Illaiyaraja = Kadhal Oviyam - Alaigal Olivathillai
3.Vidyasagara = Malare Mounama - Karna
4.Yuvan Shankar Raja = Theenda Theenda - Thulluvadho Illamai
5.Karthik Raja = Sutrom Boomi - Dum Dum Dum
6.Harris Jeyaraj = Yetho Yetho - Laysa Laysa
7.Deva = Nalam Nalamariya aval - Kadhal Kothai
8.Baradwaj = Enakena aerkanave = Parthen Rasiten

  Guess me - right on, IR is so narrow minded, he can only deliver a cetain type of indian music, and when he tries something new he fails. ARR on the other hand, has a much wider range of musical styles than anyother composer, from village soundtracs ( karuthamma ),dance (a.e ), youth pop ( boys), melodious ( roja). ARR has more creativity than ever, and AE is proof!

  Mr. maacha, sugar will be always sweet and people who listen to the songs dont care about the depth. That doesnt mean ARR songs dont have depth. That depth is inside the sugary coating. Those who want sweet may just taste it and those who need depth will unearth it.

  I love IR's melodies but I must say repeated hearing of his songs has led me to a state of condemnation. I mean there is nothing new to listen; just the same song, same pathos, same feeling.
  
  On the other hand, when I listen to ARR songs, it grows inside. Each time you listen to them, you find some thing new. I mean I have never felt those songs boring.
  
  But there is no point in comparing 2 legends who have distinct style of creating music.

  IR's melodies are good, only good to hear in tamilnadu.

  "ARR losing creativity" is true to some extent. Look at all his recent songs. For e.g in New he has recycled two old songs. Boys was okay. But all other movies for e.g. Machi, Udaya, etc are big let downs in his usual creativity and style.

  guess me, the last good film by ARR was alaipayudhe. if the britney spears wannabe vasundaradas's shakalaka baby , kaadhal virus, kaatu kathals 'maaro maaro' , girlfriend, fanaah etc are your parameters of creativity , so be it.
  For me

  enna solli paaduvadho,
  onna vida,
  ilankaatru vessudhe,
  paatu solli,
  oliyile therivadu,
  vaanaville vaanaville,
  oru naal oru kanavu,
  nilavu paatu
  nee thoongum nerathil
  chinna kuyile kuyile kuralai enakku tharuvaaya,
  nee paartha paarvaikoru nanri ,
  kaathe kaathe
  are the songs that I can cherish and carry with me till I die (Mind you, all these songs are composed by IR after 2000)

  Except for "ilankaatru vessudhe" from Pithamagan and may be the Hey Ram song, all the other songs are good examples of loss of creativity. And for ilankaatru vessudhe, IR did some re-hashing of his own song "Thennal Vandru Theendum Pothu" from Avatharam.
