Bit Songs

Somehow, a trend of having 'bit' songs in a movie has come to stay. Can we have a list as well as "Whodunnit"?

To start with.... "Kollayiley thennai vaithu" from "Kaadhalan"

  DIGRESSION
  
  Bharathi has many bharathiyaar songs used as bit numbers in the film, in BGM. For example, when nivedita devi enlightens(?) bharathi, who hitherto had lesser opinion about women, about the power of women, bharthiyaar song aettayum peNNai is used in background. Infact Bharathiyaars songs are used in this film as situational ones i.e. the song that fits to the situation of the film and for the mood and behaviour of the character 'Bharathy', is picked up and played as a fullfledged song or a bit song in BGM. This is the reason for two non-bharathiar songs(mayilpola of Mu.Mehta and aedhilum ingu of Pulamaipiththan) found in the film. Also, bharathiar's songs were sung in different mood than the conventionally known mood(ofcourse those lyrics did fit aptly to these new mood) e-g. nalladhor veenai saeidhae is used FOR bharathy at his funeral but the fact is it was created by bharathy himself. Hence from music aspect also "Bharthy - idhu oru MANIDHANIN KADHAI".

  There is a Christian devotional bit song in filM AO, sung by BSS ' Thothiram paadiye', a school prayer song in film Rajapaarvai just before 'Andi mazhai pozhigiradhu' song , which I don't remember.

  There is another bit song in film MooduPani, sung by UmaRamanan - 'Aasai Raaja aariroo'- a soothing melody. Iam not sure if 'Paruvakkaalangalin kanavu', from the same film, sung by SJ/MV could come under bit song as it has only one charanam
