  NO. Housefull doesn't have any songs. It's about the aged owner of a theater, trying to save his theater (running housefull) which has a bomb planted in it!!The whole movie is shot in a theater.

  Madhan, Goa told us that raja was taken aback by the screenplay of the movie and took 10 days to complete the score (FYI, he took just 26 hrs to complete the BGM for Kadhal kavidhai!!!)

  good to hear all the good news abt raja. iam also eager to see housefull and KK, but being in US it is going to be a distant dream for a while. also 'housefull' is a supposedly good thriller in tamil films after a long gap. iam sick of those old love stories.

  hi guys,
  I saw 'Kaadhal Kavithai' yesterday and was shocked the way the movie was picturised! The best song of the album
  'Konji pesu' was put in the title and most of the other songs were also picturised badly! The movie more or less serves as an
  advertisement for dianna memorial and london! I had some faith on Agathiyan but he dashed all our hopes! He single handedly
  spoilt the movie with a good cast and excellent performances by Prashatha nd isha!! i was just wondering whether raja and family,
  are they unluky on the whole??? Give ur feedback if u've seen the movie!

  How is Anthahpuram doing on the countdown programs? On Andhra-bhoomi website, Anthahpuram is ranked #5 in terms of audio sales. But this figure is as old as Jan 6th. It may have picked up from then. If it has not, it is still too early to say that IR has recaptured his rule in Telugu.

  I think 'Anthapuram' audio was released some 2 months back., may be now the cassette sales is a bit down., but as per my Andhra collegues' statements., Anthapuram is doing well & if the movie ( released one week back i think) goes fine., this album will become a great hit ! Remember KM came to Top position in audio sales after the release of movie only. We should also accept the fact that people are not ready to buy a cassette for the MD name only ( ofcourse - except for Rahman) they need to hear some good opinion about the film, songs, picturisation etc., IMO only jeans & KK are the ""only"" albums which became sucessful even before the film release., SO please wait., after hearing this album., i am sure that u will feel the same - IR is gonna start his rule again in Telugu'

  Illayaraja ,even though having a lot of stuff,he always provides good songs only for a selected
  banner/director/actor films...
  
  And He has good opinion on Ahathiyan....

  The rerecording for the movie is very excellent.
  especially in the temple when prashanth goes to see his lover and the temple is full of lights

  As mukund has told the film is not bad... its
  really good.the director has handled the same stuff in a different way and i hope he has succeeded.
  
  Let Illayaraja show the same interest on all his
  films and make the Deer(make tamil translation)

  The movie is NOT that bad as u say and the picturisation is decent enough.C'mon, Diana's tomb is the center around which the story revolves,how do u expect them not to show it often???
  
  One thing I liked in the way he's dealt the screenplay. It's taken so poetically,that is even a trivial thing is shown with importance.
  
  I don't quite understand why u call Raja and family unlucky, for ,the cassettes are going like hot cakes and the movie is a big hit.

  Guys,
  Info request. I heard that there are music shops which do CD recording in Madras. Can somebody tell me How good it is? Which shop is good and the collection they have. Can you please give the address? I'm going to India next month. Also I want to know good original CD selling shop. The shop in spencer plaza is not good and does not have collection. Any info on this is greatly appreciated.

  Dear SPM,
  
  The interview was more philosophical in nature (an euphemism for Vijay's statement :))). There was not even an element of music discussed except that when he was asked if he scores every song with equal dedication and effort, he blasted. He said he does with all his devotion but "we" tend to accept only those as great which appeal to us. He says that If I feel good good about a particular song I declare that it is for that song that he had vested a lot of interest.
  
  Personally I feel that IR "koosaamal Pulugugiraar"

  What IR said was about the effort and not the enthusiasm !. I think he was right about the effort part. Just because you liked something one should not assume that there is not effort on his part for other songs.
  
  In fact, appreciation requires a level of effort from listener's side too. If I were him i would have given the same reply too.

  I think the discussion is slightly going going out of the way. The point I wanted to emphasize is:
  
  Compare "Aruna Kirana Deepam" of Guru and "Melur kudikaaran" of KK (I beg u do not tell me that I am comparing two entirely different songs..Pleqase read on..). I feel that the former would have definitely taken more time to take shape than the latter. Of course, IR may claim he spent equal effort on both .....

  Guys , Take it EZ. This stupid reporter had nothing better to ask. Why the hell did he ask abt vague stuff instead of asking abt TFM.?? The reporter sounded as though he was talking to Some Munivar.!!!

  You are perfectly right Murali Sankar.
  
  Take for example even some senthooram scores.They dont have the fullest effort from IR.
  
  BUT, IR's statement is a general one saying he generally puts in a lotsa of effort. Reporters did not notice him during all this time and now due to some vague reason thay notice this movie and say he put in a good effort.
  
  But a man keeps producing so many wonders in every of his album and only movie that attracts people's or reporters attention is Kadhalukku Mariyaathai or Kannaathal and he is fed up by that time.
  
  Like you gave an example no one even talks about Aruna Girana to IR and a reporter comes and says his effort seems to be good for Kannaathal.
