This is regarding Kaadhal Kavithai.
In the latest issue of Kumudham, IR's BG score for the film has been much appreciated.
My friend from Madras who has seen the film wrote to me that the background music plays a big role in the film, especially in elevating even some of the run-of-the-mill scenes to poetic scenes.
He says 'Raja romba anubavicchu panniyirukkar'

Well, I can't wait to see the film (or rather 'listen' to the film :)

I was listening to one of the song in Kaliyoonjal , it is a nice one and to my surprise I found the same song has a tamil version 'Oru nandhavana kuil sonnadhu Thalaattu' sung by IR himself for KumbaKonam Gopalu, Does any one noticed this?

IR has done that even earlier, for ex. he used the "thumbi vaa" song in Olangal as "sangathil paadatha" or something like that in a tamil film. did the same with telugu & vice-versa. i find it a good thing.

I guess he also comes up with almost a similar tune , if he finds that his earlier one did'nt get enough exposure.

For instance, recently in Kaathal Kavithai , he has one song " Alai meethu .." which is very similar to Kaathal Vaanile from Raasaiyaa. , which was a wash out b'cos of the filthy movie.
I may be wrong, but i felt Kaathal Vaaniley song was mesmerising but did not get the attention it deserved. ( Masthaana Masthaana fared better than this)

What else one need , Vikatan claims IR has 'ISAI PIDHA' 'father of Music' in its Kadhal Kavidhai review, I am very very happy to read this, Kumudam also praised IR a lot for KK music, VAZHGA IR MANY YEARS TO GIVE BETTER & BETTER MUSIC THAT NO ONE CAN MATCH

"ISAI MATHA"va? Adhu ARR or Devava? I know that you are joking. But, even for a joke, please don't tell like this and all.

IR himself cannot be called as "ISAI PIDHA". "ISAI PORUL" is a very great title for the great maestro.

IMO, I will say "ISAI MATHA" is none other than "Kalaimagal" Saraswathi.

I installed the font but I am still not able to read the font. Can somebody post the article here.
In the aaraamthinai page where it says 'if u see tamil fonts here' proceed, I am able to see the tamil fonts. But when I go to tamil pages, I get junk characters. Have anyone of you encountered this problem? If so, let me know if I need to do
someting more.

kaushik, it is pretty successful. the movie is also supposedly doing well. see the ratings in tamilcinema.com. i bought the CD too..do u want it..i can send it, as i am going to send some CDs to rajasekar.

You're right about 'anthapuram'. But my
pick is the fourth one, (the song starts
with chorus and chitra joins after awhile),
the tune is very melodious. Another good
album from Raaja with three good songs and
two fast numbers.

hi MPR,
I am from Hyderabad. when i went to buy the 'Anthapuram' cassette from a cassette shop., i was there in the shop around 15 min. trying to find some other telugu cassetes from IR., i couldn't find any. but in that 15 min. 8 Anthapuram cassettes were sold. after that i understand the album is a big HIT here & according to my roommate's statement the film is also very good - something similar to 'DEVAR MAGAN'. i think IR is gonna start his rule in Telugu again with this movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw "House Full" and the movie was a different experience for me. Parthiban has tried a new angle and hope it becomes a hit.The one thing that i was spell bound was Raja's BGM.It was terrifice right from the beginning.I do not have words to explain it and i want u guys to see and then only u can enjoy it. (Please do try to see it in Albert theatre as there only u can hear the real DTS effect).
As Parthiban quotes The films DTS music DTS- Directly Touches ur soul. This is 100% true.

YEt another jewel in the King's crown.

This is great news. Amzing speed by IR in doing the bgm for Housefull.!! just 2 months back we heard that Parthiban approached IR for this project. Now it is out and u say the work is Great ! That's Raaja !! Way to Go !!
