Its true in Kadalar Thinam "Thanga Pathagathin melae" now "kalellam manike kal aguma" Terrible copy of old song. I hope rahman can go to Hollywood and copy John Williams, James Horner,
etc. All the best ARR fans he ran out of gas.

Kamaraj,
Thanks for your time and effort in educating us, the ARR fans. We have seen the light! We will convert and start listening to IR.
Now would that stop morons like yourself from posting here?

If morons like u will stop listening to some ARR moron's music may be there is a chance we can hear some good music from IR, Deva, Vidyasagar, Shanker-Ganesh,Sirpi,Bharatwaj, Bobby!

Well said kakkan. I also agree with you.
Karthik,
when someone is giving a honest opinion why don't you digest it. This shows that you guys are not able to accept the fact that the songs are copied from something else.

Mapillai,
I had mentioned in a different thread about this adaptationof Kallellaam manicka.. song by ARR. But it is the fact that both of them belong to the same raagam. Why don't you understand that?

Do you know the meaning of copy? Well I'll explain it to you. Copy means someone is doing something that you are doing. But a r rahman some- times repeat his own tune.I do not sea any mistake on that. No one in the world is 100% perfect. Now do you understand what Iam talking about? Do not be a cruel slaughter.

Deva in one movie copied Michael Jackson's song. he can claim he tuned in pop ragam or what :)

A New trend:
"ESK Remix"
Jumbalaka remade as Jumbalika in Takshak.
Niagara remade as 'whatever' in Pukar.
Now cant bear the suspense which song from ESK is going to be remixed in ARR's next hindi venture.
is it Theendai or Thirakatha Katukulla??
Just curious !!!!

>>But a r rahman some- times repeat his own tune.I do
not sea any mistake on that.<<
he survives bcos of ppl like u ......I wud rather be what u say about me than listening to such recycled stuff.....u'll be debarred from giving exams irrespective of whether u copy from the guy sitting next to u or u copy from ur own notes...and i've been taught copying is a crime and i won't accept it wherever it is done....and I 'm sure no unbiased person will challenge my claim that arr has copied...
also, i think ur definition of copy is not complete (i wud say it's altered to exclude arr from it :-) )

Dear Cynic
You say you are taught not to copy and it is a crime but you yourself have copied the following lines from an earlier post.
>>But a r rahman some- times repeat his own tune.I do not sea any mistake on that.<<
Also how do you define copying so that ARR can be included into it. Please tell.
With lots of love - Arrcynic

Hi,
Happen to see Muthalvan ----
just a small review!....
---- 100 marks to Shanker, he has done it pretty well, the photography of song sequences were excellent. The color combination and the song locations are tought out clearly and done perfectly.
The story is a nice little fiction!, and somewhat logical, majority of the people I enquired liked the story. Sujatha's dialoges adds more value and power to the scenes.
for eg; Raghugvaran asks a minster how much revenue does we get on sales tax, the minster asks him back if he likes to know for the country or the katchi!...sujatha is sujatha!...
Arjun plays the role wonderfully, the screen play is very active!...though it had few cinematic stuff, we can igonore this. Raghuvarn, Manivanan, Vaidvelu Manisha, vijay kumar have done it very well.
Regarding the songs, all the songs are very well picturized,. Especially the Ulundu, Upu karuvadu and Multavane...have been done very well and the shots are very new to tfm. you can see lot of digital stuff!...used wonderfully.
Finally, re-recording --- is good , I know many here thinks arr cannot do RR, but in muthalvan I felt things are pretty fine and perfect. I say this I belive that RR alone is just not music...
In the last scence, shanker shows a computer simulated mount road with lanes and there will be McDonalds etc, opposite to LIC, cars will be moving in lanes and and cars change lanes by indicating!....wow after this scene I began to feel when will this become a reallity.
A good movie I have seen in past few years, I am begining to feel Shanker is better than Maniratham!...

Seeing Shankar's trend:
Gentleman: Action subject
Kadhalan: Love Subject
Indian : Action
Jeans : Love subject
Mudhalvan : Action
So, it this is true AP
Annian or (Alien) is supossed to be a Love Subject. But i feel the name doesnt sound appropriate.. full of suspense !!!

In Muthalvan,
One of the BGM pieces is set in the same ragam as the theme from 'Mission Impossible'.
Another is set in the same ragam as a piece from Omen.
Long live ARR and his adaptations of rare ragams
