  ARR is the best of the best in copy anothers music.
  He takes 6 months to compose 6 songs for one movie and still he cant do BGM. If he want to do BMG for that movie, then he need another 6 months........
  
  hahahaha ARR is a funny guy!! I can laugh loud and loud.
  
  Our Isaichakkaravarththy, Isaipperarasan, Isaignani ILAIYARAJA could compose 6 songs within 24 hours. He proved it and it became extreme chartbuster in 80's, and still he doing.
  
  I am all music directors fan and I listen every music directors songs.
  
  But, I can say that even SIRPI can make hit songs such as MU\dhalvan and etc if he spent 6 months to compose. I wonder if SIrpi do like this, then maybe he will be the ISAIPPUYAL too.

  On the other hand, think about.... if ILayaRajah take 6 months for 6 songs......................

  isai puyal adhicha athule...Isaichakkaravarththy, Isaipperarasan, Isaignani --- everything flew away, and
  isaipuyal was given with the above reason, it is not a like mastero --- is given to people who had publised a symphony...musically, not just verbally.

  Thanks to your claim on Shaklaka baby, I tried pondering into the song yesterday night and found out few interesting facts, I know many will not agree by the following are my thoughts,
  
  One of the major things I noted
  1. No no no -- humming score : Rahman repeats the same score for the 3rd time, can anyone tell me the previous occurences of this notes! (atleast 1...)
  2. There is a raga bedam like stuff involved, moves towards some madyamavathi or Sri scales,
  3. Singer vasudra has done it well,
  4. Beat pattern is good, has some brand new sounds
  5. Pallavi has good minor harmomies, check the words shaka la baby it has a 3 part harmony that moves with the EMinor, Gmaj, Amin progression.
  6. The saranam suddenly moves to a major -- moham
  7. Vasundara's opening blues like start is good,
  8. Recording is very clear...
  9 Basically the song is very fast
  10 It is a simple score, and I liked it, can be played in any party!...makes me hum the lines.,
  
  Cons:
  Unwanted spanish stuff and a sumo scream in the middle, (need to watch the movie might be the directors request.)
  Male Chorus in the second half, some what confused, there was a gap.
  The same Dolki like sound used in all the songs.

  Was listening to 'kurukku chirithavale'.
  
  And it dawned on me!
  
  The 'pallavi' of this song is a direct lift from the sixties song 'oru peNNin manathai thottu pooravare'.
  
  The interlude in that song before the verse 'ennai vittu pirinthu en anbe nee poogathe', is the exact same as the pallavi of 'kurukku sirithavale'. ARR has set it to a different rythm though.
  
  Also, the begining of the song 'chotta chotta nanayuthu Taj Mahal' is a carbon copy of 'kaNgalile oru kaathal ula' by SAR in 'Pistha'.

  here what i want to say is please don't compare ARR and IR. because both of them got their different way in composing musics. ARR's way is totally different from IR's music. if IR still compose music as like he composed in 80's, sure no one will not listen to his music. if we see now, he also following ARR's ternd in his composing. No one can deny this. Because that is business. Last time when before ARR enter to this cinefield, all MD at that time was following IR's ternd, but now the situation was totally change. This is called as changing of time. When IR was led other MD, he was head-weight and never respect other people. But ARR is totally different from him. He knows how to respect peoples and know about humanity. This is we cannot aspect from IR. Thats why most peple like ARR. Some one say that ARR"s music is not pure and take more time. Why? He care about QUALITY not about QUANTITY. If we look at IR's music, most of the movie that he was composed with BAD music never get success. Some times eventhough the movie never get response, the songs will get BIG response and RESPECTS. Thats what happenned to ARR's movies. The movie such as 'Sangamam','Enn Swasa Kaetre','Mr.Romeo' and etc never hit the screen but ARR's music was HIT audience's ears with successfully. If you compare ARR with IR, you also should compare IR with MSV too. IR also copy MSV's music. Globally the music is we can say as 'world', whereever you go, you have to come to that point. So music also like that. what os ever you change at last you will listen that sound too. And some one compare ARR with SAR, when you people compare the bIG mountain with BiG mountain, please why you want to bring the hill enter to this topic?

  ARR is a great sound engineer.
  
  He is very good at mixing other peoples music to come up with a tune. See the Kumudam interview? Even they pointed out tunes ARR stole.
  
  He is not a Composer. A Composer has to make 'original' music.
  
  IR is the last 'Composer' TFM had.
