  vikram in iyer getup with stiff neck looking upwards reminds me of Sivaji ganesan.

  The director and his team ahs returned from Amsterdam after shooting a song for a whopping Rs 1.5 crores! The costliest film in the history of Tamil cinema is ‘Anniyan’ starring Vikram and directed by Shankar. This is the first tie that they are working together. Oscar V Ravichandran is producing the film. Two songs have been recorded. Vairamuthu ahd written the lyrics and Harris Jayaraj had composed music for the film. One of the songs has been picturized at Amsterdam.shoot sequence lasted 15 days. Amsterdam is famous for its flower exhibition that happens once every year. The exhibition is going to be the highlight of the song. Vikram and Sadha have been shot singing duets amidst these colorful flowers. Vivek is also featured in the song.This song alone had cost more than Rs 1.5 Crores! You could have made a film with that money alone!

  Like Sivaji, Vikram's histrionics and over acting is enjoyable and successful (e.g. Pithmagan). But, when people like Kamal does it...it becomes a disaster. From the Nayagan days...Kamal screams the hell out of you every time he is supposed to just cry....and people start laughing.
  
  But...like Sivaji...like Pacino and DeNiro...Vikram is showing signs of greatness in histrionics. Early days yet ....but has the potential to be the rightful heir to the great Sivaji! Surya is not that far behind and will give compete for that position with Vikram.

  I agree on your observations on Vikram's acting talents. He is much better (and controlled) in his acting than Kamal (self declared heir to Sivaji).
  
  But Kamal does excel in comedy roles or roles like Aboorva Sagotharargal, Kalyana Raman and may be a shade better than Vikram on this type of roles.
  
  I doubt the same about Surya. His body language is not even close to Vikram or Kamal or even Vijay. He needs to improve to become a complete actor before he can compete for the top spot.

  Hi friends.
  
  I could see some people here passing message against kamal and comparing with current actors.
  Kamal is an acting genious. U all know he has acted for decades. And people making comparison of him with current actors itself proves that he still fits in to the trend. (Hats of to him)
  I enjoyed every movie of him till Virumandi.
  
  No doubt Vikram is a good actor. But still he have go a long way may be another 15-20 yrs to prove himself.
  Shankar/vikram combination is new...and more chances of getting out with his talents...
  Haris is the current music wizard..hope music will be a treat..
  Awaiting for ROBOT ...
