  I wanted to make this clarification to everyone ( I know that you also know this :-)) )..GUYS..it is not Kalaignar who has written the song in Azhagi...it is another person with same name..and he is a tamil professor.

  In the movie,"Original Sin", there is one scene before the marriage of the leads, where they show the Cuban Village, and the BGM is exactly the same as the rthym of the song "Poda Poda Punnakku". Even the overall BGM has striking resemblence to IR. I think the MD of that movie is also a IR Fan(or DEVA fan :) ).

  That's a remake of the Malayalam hit, 'Vaasanthiyum Lakshmiyum pinne nyaanum' (Vasanthi, Lakshmi and I). The hero, Kalabhavan MaNi really put in great effort to 'look' like a blind man. He is also a totally un-glamorous actor and it was quite a realistic performance, at least from the scenes and songs I have seen on TV. Throughout the film he is supposed to have tried NOT to show his eye-ball at all!! I saw a couple of songs on TV while in india and the songs were quite nice folk-kind of melodies. MG Sreekumar had even received awards for the songs.
  Now with IR composing a completely new soundtrack in Tamil, I am sure he will give us a royal treat.
  
  My only wish: Hope he doesn't rope in MGS for any song... Hope SPB or Madhu Balakrishnan gets to sing all the numbers!
  Thankfully the director is NOT Priyadarshan. He has been forcing the MDs (be it Tamil or Hindi) to take his friend MGS, who doesn't bother about his heavy mal. accent (unlike Yesudas who in spite of being an outsider did a fairly decent job). Sreekumar's Hindi numbers especially are PATHETIC!

  Bhargavinilayam:- Vincent is planning to remake his famous movie 'Bhargavinilaym'. It was himself who directed this movie based on the famous novel 'Neelaveliccham' by Basheer 37 years ago starring PreamNazir and Madhu in lead roles. M.T Vasudevan Nair will be rewriting the Screenplay for this new version. Ilayaraja will be recreating that famous songs by Baburaj and P.Bhaskaran. Camera - Santhosh Shivan.   Rajiv Anchal To Direct English Movie:- RajivAnchal is planning to direct his new English movie named 'Beyond the Souls'. Lead roles will be handled by Mammooty and Madhuri Dixit. O.V Vijayan will be translating the screenplay to English and music is from Ilayaraja. It was Rajiv Anchal who directed the famous malayalam movie 'Guru'.
  Dileep in Double role:- This movie directed by Sasishankar after 'Mr Buttler' will have Dileep in double role. Screen play is by Benny Nairambalam. It has Rajan.p.Dev, N.F Varghese, Harisree Ashokan, Sudeesh etc in other roles. Heroine is not yet decided. Movie is produced by Chams Movies.
  Council of Malayalam Cinema Industry formed: - According to the chairman Mr. Mammootty main objective of this new association will be to unite all other Film related associations in solving disputes and problems. Convener is Dr. Ramadas Cheloor.
  Priyadarsan in Hollywood: Director Priyadarsan to direct a Hollywood movie for Columbia pictures.The movie is an English remake of 'Kalapani'.The shooting is expected to start in April 2002.

  The saranam of "Chinna Maharani..." is an absolute soothe. Also the end piece of the second song, reminds me of the BGM of "Apoorva Sagotharargal".

  Kutti, Aandaam Adimai and Kaathal Saathi.....
  
  will I ? iam not sure if IR is responsible or the producer of the movie is responsible for coming out with a combo like this..... whoever it is, why can't they come with a combo like this rather than the above with some junk ?

  IR is NOT responsible for the combo's or deciding the labels which releases the album. It is the producer who holds the rights...So producer/label(if Producer sells rights to Label) has a say in the combo.
  
  The combo you are talking can happen only if:
  1. All the three films you had mentioned are produced by the same producer OR
  2. All the three films are released by the same LABEL.
  Kathal Saathi - was released by TIPS
  Kutti - Not yet released
  Aandaan Adimai - Any idea of which label released it?.

  IR is really great lah.All is latest music are very good and fresh one.Raja is also want to introduce another trend in film music.That is for sure.He is the genius who can make film music for Internasional level.Now a days our Maestro is busy with a lot of project.So we are lucky to hear his music.There is nobody can replace him in the music industries.Go and hear songs from Kutti,Kathal Sathi,Andan Adimai,Usire,Lajja and many more to come.All the best Raja.You is the best ever was and best ever will be.

  IR IS ALLTIME GREAT. HIS OLD SONGS OR NEW SONGS THEQUALITY OF THINKING IS VERY GOOD.OK NOW A DAYS HE IS GETTING ONLY FEW FILMS BUT THE SONGSARE REALLY GOOD. EXAMPLES,KADALUKKU MARIYADAI,SETHU,BHARATHI,HEY RAM,FRIENDS,KANNUKUL NILAVU,KUTTI,... HE IS DOING HIS PART REALLY WELL. hIS UNCOUNTABLE NO OF FILMS WERE BOX OFFICE HIT PURELY BECAUSE OF HIS MUSICAND SONGS.WHEREAS IN ARR CASE IT IS A BIG QUESTION MARK.
