  I don't accept your statement yoga. If the songs were junk according to you, it would'nt have created a craze among the people in my university out here in Dallas. Its the most sought after, I would say more than Jeans. Personally, Jeans to me was a dis-appointment. Well lets not comment on a thing which we are very sure of.

  I'll agree with yoga.The songs in KK are really a piece of garbage.Even after several listening , i regretted that i chose the wrong combination for the Jeans CD.
  Jeans on the other hand, is an excellent album.Each song has a different characteristics.
  The best being the 'Kannodu'.
  
  I'm not degrading KR but KK is really bad.KR started averagely with Manickam but slowly progressed with Ullasam and was at top form with NINI.However KK is a total dissapointment.

  i would say the song, "saravanabava guha vadiva thinam thinam kanavinil varum muruga" is very good, others are definitely below standard when thinking of combination of IR/Kamal/PRabhu Deva

  Karthick Raja Proves the fact.
  He has used Kamal in three types of song.
  the first one Anaconda - a real western type
  The second Kasu mela - madras koothu
  The third Saranavana bhava -- a classical number
  
  Hats of to Kartick and Kamal ...
  great work, AR needs a competition - sure KR he is a real match to Ar..

  Happened to see KK last week. The movie was a 'paththOdu pathinoNNu' in terms of story, progress etc. Crazy Mohan keeps you awake through the movie. thuNukkuth thOraNam.
  
  As far as music is concerned.... well the less said the better. In one word, untolerable. Esp when Kamal sings 'vaasa kathuva raasalachchumi thattukira vElai' instead of vELai..... very irritating to see these from a person like Kamal who is otherwise perfect in his pronounciations. It is very clear that Kamal has mispronounced 'la' purposely. Kamals appearance & dance adds to your woes.

  I thought(and I still do) "kaasumela" is a dapaangoothu song..and Kamal was singing in perfect Madras Tamil...So pronunciations really dont matter,I guess :-)
  
  Personally, I liked "kaasumelai" and "saravana bhava", esp. the latter...soft and mellow and the lyrics blend so well with the song that it just breezes into you!!
  
  Good work KR, though the remaining songs left much to be desired.

  Saw the film last night - Very little background music, bad storyline fell asleep for most of it, boring - Almost directly copied from Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar.....the small time thieves, adopted children, selling paintings to dead people's families......Actresses looked very chubby and Kamal is looking very old. Song picturisation wasn't too good either, considering Kamal and Prabhu are great dancers.
  
  Saravanabhava was nice to look at and a nice melody. Kaasumelai, listenable, Madonna Padal - Ok to look at and listen to.....
  
  All in all, a big disappointment.....won't run in UK at all, 5 days was it's full run....Better luck to Jeans....

  d)Kasu mela song is your favourite?! That is just weird.

  Okay i MAY be wrong, but meh i was bored.
  
  Okay back to the topic, I was not pleased with the songs from this album.The storylines in the movie were dumb, the songs i just found annoying. Yes, I have these songs on a cd along with the songs from Jeans,it would have been better if it was some other movie instead of Kadhala Kadhala.
