IR vs ARR - Who is the best user of piano

Hello Everyone,
I keep hearing in Sun TV interviews, Sabthaswarangal etc that ARR is the best pianist around. But I feel that IR is miles ahead of ARR in composing using Piano. Some great examples are as below

En Vaanille Ore Vennilla (Johny) - Esp the starting bits

Malai En Vedthanai Kuttuthadi (Sethu) - The starting bit.

Nee Partha Parvaikuru Nanri (Hey Ram)

On the other hand I can provide some examples of ARR's use of piano too.

1. Thendralee Thendralee (Kadhal Desam)- Starting bits, interludes (just brilliant)
2. Vennillave Vennilave (2nd interlude)

But I feel IR's compositions of Piano is too creative and not repetative. Any opinions?.

I would like you all to bring some more IR's use of piano and compare it with ARR's with due respect to both of their works.

  Hihi: GR was a legend and a genius indeed. The man knew his music well before he puts it out. I would call it the "Baroque Age" of Tamil Film Music. An extraordinary composer/singer par excellence. One should hear him sing in "Ponmudi" with TV Ratnam. I started a thread on the great genius and there was little response or none at all. I grew up listening to GR and his wonderful artistry. He could literally interpret carnatic raagas in a way no one did during his reign 1940-1961. He introduced to us the concept of orchestration. Listen to "Kanvizhi Pugundhu" from Thooku Thooki, thought had a little irish tings to it at the beginning. Even CRS and SVV acknowledged him as the legend. Those days composers were really gracious.

  G Ramanathan - I am discovering the genious of GR (thanks to dhool !! (for the nth time, a big thanks to the guys behind dhool)
  
  Some GR songs I listen to everyday -- sindhanai sei manamE (ambikapathi), veLLippani malaiyin (kappalOttiya thamizhan). I feel that IR has been inspired by the former song in kalaivANiyE (sindhu bhairavi) apart from the obvious fact that they are both kalyANi.

  I think dorai is right. I prelude does have piano (chords predominantly).
