  ALAVANTHAN IS A GREAT MOVIE TO WATCH. I HAVE WATCHED IT THREE TIMES TO UNDERSTAND THE REAL STORYLINE. SALUTE TO KAMALJI FOR HIS GREAT WORK. GENIUS.UNFORTUNATELY TAMILIANS IS NOT YET PREPARED TO WATCH A THINKING MOVIE. HOWEVER, ALL TAMILIANS WORLWIDE SHOULD GO AND WATCH THIS MOVIE TO SUPPORT A TRUE CALLIBRE ARTIST.

  movie is a form of entertainment,by seeing all these postings i feel in the future aalavandhaan may find a way in national geographic channel or discovery as you say it is a thinking movie and slowly wew can all think and understand about it,kaakki chattai etc has been seen by all of you to express something now but many are not interested to see this thinking movie and so it is a big flop.

  Lord of the rings is a big drag. The book can be edited to one third its size.
  
  Hobbit is much better. (prequel to Lord of the Rings).

  Indian movies like Hey Ram, Terrorist, Malli, Maya and all of the above have played to packed main stream audiences and rave reviews in film festivals around the world, including the one in Toronto.
  
  Now, you tell me, how many of these movies were hits in India?

  ramu your observation is quite correct. in the name of acting, he is repeating every time the same dialogue delivery,same mannerisms, its boring. kamal is good only in light movies like iru nilavu,guru,sakala kala vallavan,vazhve mayam,thoogathe thami,avargal,etc. it is terrifically boring to watch him in guna like movies which does not suit his style of acting.also kamal is not sivaji ganesh and all differnt type of make ups does not suit him. also his singing is horrible.

  Kamal is the Ulti actor of atlantic. Though movie has got some minus points,Motion CONTROL camera, latest Graphic techniques,Cartoon imagination which r never before on the indian screen.to that aspect we have to appreciate him.Can one imagine how real the final climax was shot ? ( both kamal fighting ). i have watched both tamil & hindi.
