CHANDRAMUKHI VS M.EKSPRESS VS ANNIYAN VS GODFATHER VS SACHIN

WOW! Its going the GREATEST BATTLE of all time n the most fierce fight
ever in tamil film industry history. All top actors like Superstar Rajini, Padmashree Kamahassan, Chiyan Vikram, Ultimate star Ajith and Illaya Thalapathi Vijay will battle it out neck n neck on coming TAMIL NEW YEAR 2005. Who will win it? It has been 3 years since Rajini last film Baba, which was a flop…while Kamal VR did quite well. Vijay riding high after Ghilli…Vikram’s Arul didn’t do well and finally Ajith back in the race with vijay for superstar stature after Attagasam bring some profit. Whatever happen, this will be written in tamil film history as one of the greatest battle. There will be only 1 winner where he will beat 4 other top actor n write his name in history book.. WHO DO U ALL THINK?

  I don't think so!!, perhaps collection wise, it would have beaten all other movies, just like all Rajni movies, but I think there were more films, which ran better than baba in 2002

  since baba has a dobble ticket price and it run more than 100days it had t best collection in 2002. - movie was sold 4 a high price, so there4 rajini payed back some money.

  Muthu, was a mega hit, where else Kuruthi Punal was a flop, but I liked Kuruthi punal's story, even though the original story was hollywood movie, well what do you expect from Universal Inspirer ;))
  
  Kamal did not give enough role for a talented actor like Arjun, Arjun looked much better for the role than kamal.

  I disagree with you as 'Kuruthippunal' WAS NOT A FLOP(it's only in this forum do i see people coming with such a opinion).Also it was a remake of Govind Nihlani's Hindi film 'Drohkaal'(not inspired by any Hollywood film)*ing Om Puri(I think),Nasseruddin Shah& Asish Vidyarthi's (On debut)in Nasser's role in Tamil.After seeing KP,Govind's comment on the film was "A remake better than the original".Also what was 'Muthu' but a messed up remake of 'Thenmavin Kombathu'.I am really hoping P.Vasu does not do the same to 'Chandramukhi'.

  Kurudhippunal is a remake of Drohkaal by Govindh nehlaani..
  kamal bought the rights...infact you can see that in the credits for the film.

  Kamal's fulltime job is to feature an actor whose market has picked up and give a flop. This will put that actor in risk. He did to Arjun after Arjun had a big hit Gentleman then to Prabudeva after Kadhalan. He did the same to Madavan after Run. Out of the three Arjun and Madavan survived.   What is this new twist in the story:Kamal's only job in life is to ruin the careers of people by giving them oppurtunities in his films ha ha ha.
  
  Arjun:has always had a chequered career,his films don't release on time,flop badly but he gets hits in between&manages to stay afloat.
  
  Prabhudeva:when he acted in Kadhala Kadhala in 1997,he had finished 3 years as an hero(Kadhalan was released in 94)&was on his way out anyway.
  
  Madhavan:Anbe Sivam was a bigger setback to Kamal than Madhavan&anyway he can never be a hero with appeal all over Tamilnadu-his looks,body language&upbringing doesn't allow that.

  Yeah. Kamal 'spoiled' Mathavan's career with Anbe Sivam, where people were awed by Mathavan's ability to stand up to Kamal as an actor, after looking at Mathavan as 'pretty boy'for a long time.
  
  Then he again went and spoiled Mathavan's career with NallaDhamayanthi which was a moderate hit and showcased Mathavan's comic abilities.
  
  Kamal spolied Arjun by making him act in an actually good movie, rather than let him act in his usual 'draped in falg' c-r-a-p.
  
  I am surprised how no one here mentioned about Shah Rukh Khan and Hey Ram.

  Go easy on Maddy, out of this generation, I think maddy is the only one, who is fit to be hero, other actors include Surya, Vikram is out cos of his age , though he is greattttttt actor.
  
  now coming back to Arjun, He looked and looks better Kamal(older kamal), in Kuruthy punal, Arjun looked smart enough for the role than kamal, that is a fact, Arjun is only couple of years younger than kamal, but he looks much better than kamal.
  
  Arjun is a V.good actor, nothing wrong with his acting @all .

  mnt, Kamal might have provided Maddy with unusual roles but the flow of his commercial success was stopped with these 2 movies.....KM atleast was a critically acclaimed movie for Maddy but Anbesivam and NalaDamayanthi- i have hardly seen rave reviews for Maddy on this.....neways it wud be kiddish to discuss on this as Maddy is a grown adult and he knows wat he is doing.....he shuld have done these things whole-heartedly.......
  
  hey another interesting fact-SRK in an interview to a Music channel revealed that Maddy was supposed to do Mohan Bhargav in Swades but later was done by SRK as ashutosh did not have that much confidence in MADDY to handle such a heavy role and that too in Hindi.....i think this is a life-time miss for Maddy.......

  Also, I only saw 'rave reviews' for M's performance whenever I read a review of Anbe Sivam. I am not sure how you missed it.
