  Kuzhaloodhi is set in Khamboji ragam whereas KaNNaMoochi is set to NAtta Kurinji (atleast in the pallavi)
  PAlvadiyum I think is NAtta Kurinji and hence seems much closer to ARR's song.

  Even your digression is forgivable if it's out of sheer love for music. But your hinting that there's an anti-hindi faction here when there's no reason to make such a statement shows the judgment that you carry with you. Please don't fan flames that aren't flaring.   KK song shot in a fort in Scotland was too dark to make out anything other than abbas in a "Batman -type" costume.
  
  "Yengey Enadhu Kavithai" started halfway and ended b4 it finished,...and was shot inside the studio, aishwarya playing role of playback singer. (sorry,..no good locales etc.)
  
  "Smiyai" was just ok,...on the sets of a ship.
  
  except "Sandhana Thendral"..no other picturisation was worth mentioning...
  
  BGM was not bad, but again,...cud make out the re-use of opening beats of "Mazhai Thuli Mazhai Thuli" from sangamam at quite a few places.

  KKKK was unbearable.I don't know if I would have been able to sit through it if not for the songs.
  The songs were picturised well especially "Enna solla pogirai".

  KKKK is a very ordinary movie but for the songs. Kannanoochi Yennada and "Enna Sola Pogirai" songs picturisation are very good. Sabu Seril does a good art work in "Kanna Moochi Ennada" song. But for these two songs, all the songs are piturised in a very ordinary fashion. I don't see any good camera work either from Rajeev Menon & Co (Photography by Ravichandran).

  ."These days the South producers allege that you are not giving even the bigtime producers a fresh track. But instead you're passing lifts from Bollywood tracks to them like 'Doli Sajake Rakhna', 'Pukar', 'Thakshak'. Why so?
  
  
  ARR: "It is the question of time. Since I am going off abroad, people don't want to lose the frequency of my releases. I can't do everything at the same time. So I pick up the best tracks and give them those. It's not just me. They ask for it. The South and Bollywood are completely different markets. The songs that play in Hindi films reach only to about ten per cent of the Tamil Nadu people. And that too because of the channels. If you take the 'Que sera sera' number from 'Pukar', it was there in a film called 'En Swasa Katre'. I had put so much energy in that. I got musicians from London, but it went unnoticed since the film did not work. When it was reproduced in Hindi  the song caught on very well."

  "I don't care if anyone respects me and my music or not. If he is going to sing a great piece for me, that's all I look for. What I need is the talent. But the problem is, when you don't acquaint yourself with a singer he thinks he is being rejected. That makes them say a lot of things for their survival. In this field all of us are like family and face each other at one point or the other. So it is better not to have discords. I have done movies with rank newcomers like Arvind Swamy, Prabhu Deva where I had the chance to use any voice and it would make sense. But when you are doing a song for a star like Shah Rukh Khan or Anil Kapoor, people relate to only certain voices who can playback for them.
