IR's new albums!

  NagaS, you are right..Lets appreciate quality..not quantity. One of the most underrated of recent albums of IR is kAthal jAthi. I was listening to it in my main system and now listening to it on headphone. Absolutely fantastic..especially..manasE manasE..This song has the most melodious charanams I have ever heard in recent times. Deep sounding drums..guitar plucking ..string phrases ..that go with the vocal echoes/delays (maybe a little overdone)..wow..if only the lyrics were more mainstream and not rustic this would have been a runaway hit..People should give this song an attentive listen again. IR has been doing different kind of orchestrations in recent times in each and every movie..I think he is being very innovative. The rusticity and laid back style of the songs is not going well with the audience, I guess. But I am thoroughly enjoying this album, which is recorded very well - quite a lot of new kind of small instruments and the clarity of the sound is very good.

  AFAIK SPM, it is not IR.
  And assuming it is a sincere query, IR is also not the MD for Boys, Engineer, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Abu. Please let us know if you have any further queries.
  
  But do not be disappointed...cos the directors/producers/actors of all these movies were begging Raja as it is their fate. Some even held hunger strikes outside Raja's house and had to be chased away by police who resorted to lathi-charge. They were then rushed to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai. But Raja was kind enough to offer to pay their medical expenses but held firm about not doing anymore masala films. So the disappointed directors banged their heads against the wall in frustration, wept in sorrow and had to resort to a low-grade MD to do the music.
  
  Now, this must be making you feel much better about the whole situation.

  To All "IR's new albums!" friends,
  
  This is the best thread in this whole website. I see lots of intelligent and informative discussion here compared to any other threads in this forum. So very proudly, it shows the kind of people who listen to IR's music and how well versed they are in what they listen to and believe in. You can tell that the people who come in here are not fly-by-night circus wagon hoppers. This particular thread has been so successful over the years for having a good clean image which actually reflects the kind of people who come here and the level of music in their soul. In spite all this, how proud can we all be when we stop to think the very heading of this thread happened to be who else :)
  
  Of late, I do see some green monsters here, being sore losers as well, trying to come in here and make this thread a garbage like all the other threads. ENVY and JEALOUSY are the only reasons for them to behave this way. Because, every thread they get involved in has mud thrown at. And to see this thread going on so smoothly and successfully just tend to boil their blood over.
  
  Let's be EVEN MORE successful by making them invisible to us. In other words, lets keep "IR's new albums!" the same way it has been all this while and not respond to time wasters.

  Yet those "wannabe" posts made u type a response in this thread...the same way SPM's posts made me type a response to them.... and I wonder what gave u the idea they r wannabe funny & sarcastic... they were not. they were genuine attempts to sooth SPM's need to put raja as the No 1 MD whom everyone is craving for. since he has no problems believing whatever he reads as long as he likes it, I thought it will help make him feel better.

  If i dont have worth saying usualy I keep my mouth shut. Yesterday was exception. I seeing those wannabe funny, posts a lot these days, so told my point of view.
  
  I too found spm's post like he was on weeds, but didnt want to really invest my time posting a reply to it.
  
  Its the posters right!, let them what they want, what can I say. Anyway there is always a justification, point the finger at some one else!. There will always someone who did our mistake from opposite camp, lets just point them.
  
  Now on will try to justify the few hundred bytes server space my post would take.

  kk, I am as entitled to make any comments as u r. The fact u acknowledged tat "I too found spm's post like he was on weeds" is good enuf for me to know I am not the only one who saw it that way.

  But dont reject the toad again by calling it friendship...toads dont take too well to rejections. They'll go croaking all over to register their protest.
