IR's new albums!

  Talking about good 'Hamsanadham' in Raja's music the first I have ever heard is 'Soargamae Enralum Ahtu' from 'Uruvitu Uru Vanthu'... Nobody uses this kind of ragam in the film music. Even I know only one carnatic song 'Maa mava sadha janani' in this rag. So use such a rag it is something very special of Raja only.

  "you may want to advice him on how to write reviews without a load of attitude in them; -- , secondly this is a open forum anyone can post anything.
  You are just talking with a ton of attitude, if you dont like the revirew do not read.,thats it.Heck with you....do not use anyone's name here and advice them to advice me.

  do you really feel ramar analum song sounds good, the beat pattern sounds like a deva song.
  thats is why I posted, it is nice tune, if someone like arr (no other person can dare come near, as a upper scale I used arr's name) had done the beats it would have sounded good.
  
  same raja gave rame aandalum -- set to andolika!...where is that raja!...
  but frankly why do people think saying rajish is insult, I dont know.
  
  finally, finding merits...time...thediane vandathu, sethu and hey heram thediparthen kidaikavellai...sorry!

  Thanks Suresh for uploading the Hey Ram songs so soon. The first song by Kamal is quite appealing, reminding me of 'Raathiri nerathu raatchasa peygalin star wars' because of the deep voice of Kamal. Nee Partha.. is just lovely and different. It has that erotic appeal. Kamalku solli tharanumaa! Even Pollaadha madhana bhaaNam is appealing as it looks like it is situation driven.. like 'Naan siriththaal deepavali' from Nayagan. Vaishnava janatho - again Vibha sharma kills tamil like 'Indha sirippinai ingu paarthaen' from NINI.
  
  The song that is quite fresh and different is 'Nee Paartha'. Great work by IR.

  I wonder if "nee paartha" would have been greater with S.Janaki coz asha's pronunciation is slightly off the mark. anyways, that song is really mesemerising. its just top class. forget the pundits and the sales chart. this is really Raja at his best!

  Hey Ram is really a refreshing album for TFM. Very different in formats / patterns.
  
  I read the review of 'Hey Ram' by Srikanth. I feel that he is highly biased against IR nowadays - may be because he was forced argue with many IR fans in the recent past. I always thought that he was fair enough. Now with his assessment of 'Hey Ram' I feel he is one from the 'Uppu Karuvaadu' or 'Pothikittu OOthikellam' group.
  
  Criticism is welcome in this forum. But pls do not be biased. Agree that Thirunelveli / Time / Kannukkul Nilavu are not what we expect from IR. But definitely 'Hey Ram' is a welcome change.

  Enapaaa, this is going too much, I got 3 emails from some unknown friends filled with words which I cannot post it...thanks to them who ever they are....
  Only reason I posted a review for hey ram due to ravi's email some time ago to me. But After these emails filthy emails from few I am bit concerned finally music is not a religion...I am an average listener, I just posted what I felt thats all. I dont know there are n number of reviews now on HEYRAM, mine is just one among them, if you dont like to read mine there are others read them one and be happy. Why curse me and my familiy, finally, Hey ram songs did not impress me much as time, what do want me to?

  After reading your review, I feel as annoyed as the others here. But, I am sorry to hear that people are sending you hate mails ! That's carrying things a little too far. Having received similar hate mail from ARR fans (yes, they can be as bull-headed as any IR fanatic, if not more), I can understand how bothersome it can be.   When talking about film music in india, everybody
  talk only about the songs. Nobody realises how important is the re-recording to give the real effect to the scenes. In this connection
  I can definetely say I'Raja is far far superior to anybody else. Just watch the re-recodings in the film like Mouna Ragam,Sindhu Biravi,Arangettra velai,Kadalora kavidhigal,Jhonney,siraichaalai etc.. You all will realize his real calibre. If IR
  had brought more albums like 'nothing but wind','How to name it' etc.. I think those albums would've got international acclaim.
  The fusion performed mixing a folk song with a symphony bit in the song 'Indranum Chandranum' in
  the film 'Avadharam',The song of the soul (From Birth to death & rebirth) in 'Nothing but wind',
  The Instrumental melody in the rerecording of 'Aan Pavam' etc.. are some of his creative masterpieces.
  Musicians are to be constantly encouraged and I thiink IR should be encouraged to bring more Private Albums, Instrumental albums, and remix of his old tunes (1980-90) in 6 track DTS recordings
  and some of the Fusion albums.

  I don't feel dismayed by such things . It is a fundemental right for any one to express their opinion on such things.
