  My source is from only SPM's link. Looks like he misquoted. I tried to correct that.

  Surely ALBUM is best album depending on the percentage of quality
  
  Many IR fans is slightly disappointed with EN MANA VANIL, I think. But I also feel the disappointment. But he has given a all time perfect song in this film
  
  Surely Enna Solli Paduvatho is the song. Among all the recent songs in the tamil film industry this is the No. 1 by neat and very catchy tune, simple music composition.
  
  This is better than 'Pattu solli Pada solli' from azhaki for "SADANA SARGAM"
  She will get National award again?
  
  Now HARIHARAN is well suited for IR type songs by pronountiation like SPB, KJJ
  Also IR uses SADANA SARGAM in the place of S.JANAKI
  
  IR give a musical treat in this song and also in "Unnai Thedi" song
  
  it beats 'Chellama Chellam', 'Kathal Vanoli', 'Eru Kangal Sollum', 'Mullaipoo Sudikondu', 'BABA' songs, 'RUN' songs, 'KING' songs, etc...

  Yesterday I was watching a program in KTV called VeLicham by Director GM Kumar (Aruvadai NaaL fame). He said after he narrated the script to Shanmugam (Sivaji's brother) and booked for the direction, he told Shanmugam that Raja should do music for this film. Shanmugam said so far MSV has done music for all Sivaji Films movies, why do you want to go in for Raja. Kumar said the script calls for good rerecording and only Ilayaraja can do it. During the film's premier (double positive, without bgm), Sivaji appeared to have told Kumar 'kadhai nalla vandhu irukku, mathadhai Ilayaraja kitta vittudu, avan pathuppan' i.e. story is good, now leave the film to IR, he will take care).
  
  He said after this film, he got about 13 offers from different producers but 12 of them were against having Ilayaraja's music. He rejected all of them and agreed to do screenplay for only 1 film only (Pickpocket produced by KB Films Balu). That film ran into some serious trouble with censor and they incurred loss in re-shooting and dubbing, etc.
  
  He said in case of the movie Irumbu Pookkal (screenplay by GM Kumar) also, there was a fight between the producer and director. Ilayaraja refused to do BGM score for that film and requested MSV to do it.
  
  What concern me so much is, all of us know that top directors like KB/MR/GV were against Ilayaraja at that time, but why these 12 production companies (as told by Kumar) were against IR. Why Raja was in such a bad term with the producers? Anyone can explain this?
