IR's new albums!

  Yaa.I agree with what you say.but IR is of different class.His versatality in different spectrum of music shows his genius.But when you take other musicians they are confined to one area of music.That's why I said it would be good if they perform their area of speciality rather than messing a good movie.I am not doubting their ability to perform in a concert but movie is something different.It has to bring out emotions through BGM which I don't think even best MD's would be able to. But IR can anyday bring such great BGM's which we all know.

We all know that IR is good with BGM, when he wants to be. But that doesn't mean no one else is capable. Seems to me that the argument is that LS can't do a good job on this. Where's the prove? Kamal can't say that the music wasn't good because until the controversy, word was that he was praising the music of Hey Ram.

  Doing carnatic music on stage is different and singing is different and scoring music for movie is different.
  I can list some people who tried their hands in music for movies and did not come out successful

  but they were greats in their fields ofcourse
  does that mean that they dont have knowledge of music.
  Same is with LS i guess, he may be a maestro in
  violin but scoring tunes and BGM for movies is different. I really wonder if he would have given music to the calibre of IR. It is just that IR has got his own class estalished in the movie line and nothing else.
  I hope anyone else would have spoiled the whole movie. IF kamal is not going for IR for his MArudha Nayagam then he is doing a big mistake.

  nothing was great about "missisipi masala"'s BGM, though i don't remember "salaam bombay" that well.(maybe coz the BGM was not 'memorable'?!-))) Esp when compared to either devar magan, mahanadhi or nayagan. and ofcourse, kamal can't criticize the music of his own movie. he must have been hoping to better it somehow!

  Aruvi Kamal is starving for new and different roles and different type of movies,[e.g., APOORVA SAGOTHARARGAL, MICHEAL, GUNA, INDIAN, AVAAI etc.,] though he had a chance to make mass attraction movies like Rajini does and make good money! [He could have remained as the way he did THOONGAATHEY THAMBI THOONGAATHEY, SAKALAKALAVALLAVAN, KAAKKI SATTAI]. But these films will not be talked in future. That’s what I consider as a Paakkiyam to be part of his movie. Am I wrong? I dunno!! But there shouldn't be No Second Thoughts on IR's effort to make him a big star! in fact, for each film Kamal used to get a putham puthiya duet tune from IR [Vanithamani [VIKRAM], Vaaniley Thenila [KAAKKICHATTAI], Ku Kuu [KAADHAL PARISU], Puthiya Paravai [ANTHA ORU NIMIDAM], Valaiyosai [SATHYA], Sunthari Neeyum [MICHEAL], Yenthan Nenjil [KALAINGAN], Kanmani Anbodu [GUNA], Innum Yennai [SINGAARA VELAN], Raaja Logam [SATHI LEELAVATHY], Inji idupazhaki [DEVAR MAGAN], what I mentioned here are very few.] Neruppu I think the song banned by AIR was Orampo..Orampo [PONNU OORUKU PUTHUSU]! Srikanth Whatever it is . He expected DUBBU.. other things are sappaikattu!! Rama Check the Old Responses link on the top and see there. The original reason for LS expelled from HR is .. a VIOLINIST can not fit into a movie about a NON-VIOLINIST!!J (Iyyo adikka varaathinga!!)

  People, I have never heard a piece of work of LS. I have absolutely no reason to back him up for any other reason then because I feel sorry for him. I knew that he would get a lot of 'blah-blah' from Kamal fans. And he did:-). I don't care to carry on the argue as I don't care for anything that has to do with Kamal's "HeyRam", except for the songs.

  Aiyya...that was not a 'dig'. It was in a magazine. Some BGMs in IR films are awesome they said, and for some movies quote "IR must have thought this is enough for this movie". I read it a while ago. So it wasn't a dig. He's done some really good work, I like Sethu BGM, when he goes to that 'place'. And a classic would be KMs end piece when Srividhya wants Shalini as D-I-L. People, learn to see that not everyone who says something unfavourable comment is anti IR:-)
