To all those who have been writing against me and advising me on my previous posts, Vem is one , I believe...I lost many names in previous pages...
well, don't you really know why I reposted those things.? This has been happening in ARR threads for years from now. When ever IR fans gets frustrated they come to ARR thread and say many things totally unrelated and abuse ARR and his fans very personally. Don't say that such things never happened. then either you are new to this forum or you are selectively blind.
What do you think should I do when things go out of hands. That's what exactly happened when Baba released. Some one has to cleanse the ditch..when others simply close their nose. I know I will get brick bats, but I am ready for that. I will never use filthy language or severe PA, but I know how to frustrate you and how to nullify your night sleep. I don't initiate any fight, but I will definitely respond. I don't have the habit of using foul language and frankly speaking I don't know many bad words...in this condition I thought the only way to attack is to redirect your own bullets..
What am I asking? Live in peace and let live others...
See, when Iraivan was saying all the craps about IR, I was the one who raised his voice in all the threads where he spitted.
So, my cause is not ingenuine.
Ambleen...esteemed Ambleen..tried to intimidate me...I am not responding this time with my tactics..but that will not be my permanent response...
I didn't like any of IR's resent releases..I heards Ramana..and tell me did I go thread after thread and post any reviews or intimidating stuff?
SMK..heard two songs...but still I don't intend to show my reaction for the simple reason that it is not my business here..I have better things to do....BUT....some one should respond fittingly..and I am doing it..may not be continously...(BSNL probs..restricted me for the past few days)..but surely will do it...You might say, I am wrong.. then tell me what is right and effective...
Do not pick lines from this posting and comment on it sarcastically, if you really want to resolve and find a permanant solution to hatred here then join me and raise your voice.
Or else, neither you nor me...will peacefully browse thru these pages.

ARE YAAR
We come to this thread to see what's new in TFM not to read your long articles. Please if you want to tell something why don't you get their personal Email and pass it on.

That's too difficult raji and I don't have liking to post like this...My posts have always been responsive one and are in Minority when compared to the number stimulant posts I read.
I think you will understand this.

Are Yaar
You act like a petulant child, belabouring the same point over and over in myriad threads. Many times you've been ignored to your obvious displeasure, much like sane elements in 'your' threads bypass morons who bring in unwanted and low-brow comments. Provocation is something you seem to ardently court, but judging by the language you use, it seems you're in an eternal state of agitation.
I hope that you get a bit more civility in your language and limit your sanitary-style emissions, and get it into your head that as IR or ARR fans, none of us are responsible for what others write. If someone makes a nasty comment, you're better off ignoring this and discouraging further practice; if you can't and your hot-blooded nature screams for retribution, you should engage those posters in verbal duels for which you seem to have abundant time and energy.

Are Yaar,
Its been quite a long long time, i post in this thread, except very few words. U made me to do it again. Well, U are one more HCF( HardCore Fan), who often sticks to whatever they say, in an adamant way. Upon reading ur "article", i grew pity on u, my friend!!! U claim that, to clean the ditch, i spit in the ditch again!!!?? Interesting to know that. It indicates u came to "that" level may be due to frustration, anger, anguish, inability, lack of tolerance, incapable of defending in a genuine way, lacking of evidence to support ur side, or whatever it may be. Dont u know, in an argument, the person who maintains silence against a person who irritates u, makes u frustrated, keeps on spitting venom, makes the environment a ditch, is always the winner. In many cases, genuine "IR's Music lovers" maintain the silence and keep ignoring these kind of nonsenses. Why not u? Why cant u just ignore all these stupid things, and go ahead?? If u dont like any of IR's songs, well, it's after all ur opinion, that purely depends on a person and his music interest. But ur freedom stops there. If u start comparing a person with someone else, that's the start of the problem. In this forum, starting from the beginning stage, i am seeing, all the persons were doing it. Atleast for one time, might have been under compulsion. That includes me too. If u have some free time to think over this and realize what u get out of this, u might be aware that u might also have lost ur night sleep for this sake. We after all come here to know about a great musician and his compositions. If u people allow others to do it peacefully, it would be appreciated. Please dont come up with another statement like "Avana NiRuttha sollu, naan NiRutthaRaen". Hope u realize the things and let the forum a peaceful place to browse.....
Yours,
Saran

Sabesan
In the 60s, people complained about the then current tastes as compared with 40s. In the 80s, people complained about the then current tastes as compared with 60s. In the 00s, people complained about the current tastes as compared with 80s.
Frankly, all these complaints do not mean much except that they reflect on the age of the complainant.
Kolaar ungga vayasula, not in the current music.
Ithu eppadi irukku Sabesaa Maama? :)

It'z been too difficult to get some good stuff in this thread. Too much crap. Shall we all IR fans just post things only about him and his music. I request you all not to get provoked or respond to craps. This is the only way to to keep crap away. Honestly I did not even read the crap postings, just skipped .
I believe that this Diwali is seeing a lot of good music. From what I heared, SMK, Mounam Pesiyathe, April Madhathil, Kaadhal Virus and other albums by VS and Bharatwaj.
I'd appreciate any info about which album tops the chart commercially? Is IR back again? I'm curious.

Are Yaar needs to grow up that is the only solution. I don't see that in the near future. Only way he can show us that he has grown up is by not posting these stupid posts here.. In all probability some people may be both ARR and IR fans. But just to get some kind of kick they would induce these dull people like Are Yaar. Are yaar Learn to grow up atleast learn to ignore. If you are below 15 years old and a girl i have no complaints about your behaviour.

Guys,
We have got one of the best albums by Raaja this yearin SMK and what do we do instead of discussing it -we spend time wasting our energy and attention on some ignorant novice. Are Yaar, get back to work guys and lets air our reactions to SMK rather than Are Yaar.

"In the 60s, people complained about the then current tastes as compared with 40s ....Frankly, all these complaints do not mean much except that they reflect on the age of the complainant."
This is a very simplistic statement ..may get some laughter amongst the crowd in a casual atmosphere. But there are deeper issues which affect what is perceived as 'current music'.
If 'current music' is a reference to the popular music (chartbusters) then a little bit of serious analysis will tell us that more and more young people are listening to music and have the buying power to do so and it is segment which is dictating what makes a hit. Music reproducing equipment have become more and more affordable over the years. Production and distribution of music has become more and more commercial and aggressively marketed like a commodity over all channels (TV, radio, and other media). Parents are willing to let young people buy music to their taste and have their fun. In western countries, youngsters who work for college money spend a part of their earning on music apart from other frivolities.
In essence, music now reaches a wider audience than those days. The % of people preferring classical/light classical or quality music is less but in absolute numbers about the same..So music quality has not degraded but there is much more lower quality music being made.
As for Indian film music, which has been 'light classical music' is now seeing a break from the past and degenerating into multiple genres with the original light classical music getting a lesser percentage of audience.

kiru,
well said.
BTW, I watched Ivan today and though the movie was not great(the freshness of Pudhiya pAthai was lacking), the music was. I loved the wonderful BGM pieces composed by IR in the scenes involving Parthipan & Saundarya. (if you just take some of those melodies, they would be great as stand-alone songs)
Cheithi,
