  I'm not 100% sure, but reliable sources(who read a lot of Tamil magazines) say that Maestro IR will score for Marudanayagam.....Hope he produces a Dhalapathy type score for it....

  Is it recording or rerecording??? bcos, as far as I know rerecording means BGM.
  If recording is by ARR and Music by IR it makes sense.I don't think Kamal will ever do the mistake of asking ARR to do the BGM for the movie.

  5 choices for Kamal
  
  * Kamal himself can it with the harmonium and try something. (will prevent war here)
  
  ** Like Madhu drama he can get cds from library or buy them and use it.
  
  *** pudmaiyaga : he can make the movie without BGM and songs, express everything by his great sivjikal type expressions.
  
  **** Try Carnatic musicians like Lalgudi, Seshu to compose music - (some tips and help of Kunakudi.)
  
  ***** All the people here can compose one bar per person and email him as a midi file (or RJay can put it in his site for kamal to pickit up).

  Adding to above...
  
  We have missed out Deva!...Kamal can approach deva, Kamal can visit Raja every day, flick some of his scores (as Raja is down a little bit there might be lots of scores sheets accumulated in his house) and help deva in being more productive.
  or Deva himself will do this serve free of cost.
  
  Kamal can get his daughter Learn music in 30 days book and train her, introduce her as child prodigy.

  Deva will score a "Gaana" in Maruthanayagam in the likes of "Anna Nagar andalu" in "Kalamellam Kadhal Vazhga",which will make him a great star among the international audiences Marudhanayagam will have!!!!!!!!!There is no need for Kamal to flick IR's tunes for Deva as Deva holds a M.FT degree.(Master of Flicking Tunes).

  Guys, I have confirmed news that Marudanayagam's music is by IR. I in fact listened to one song of this film sung by Maestro himself. He alone, without combining with anyone, is composing for this film. I got this news from IR's guitarist himself and so this is reliable. The reason for the rumours is that it took a long time to be finalised. Apparently, IR was pained that Kamal's last few films did not have his score and it took considerable coaxing incl. giving Kadhala Kadhala to KR, to appease Maestro.

  I think the greatest success for the film "Marudhanayagam" is not the no. of days its going to run, not the no of awards its going to bag, not the amount its going to bag at the box-office, not the quality of music and md its going to have.
  But the movie is already a big hit amongst the Internet audience. It has run in surfers' mind for more than 8 months now and still will continue.
  This topic started in december 1997 is still going on and on and on....
  Except few 'unwanted' postings all others really express their feelings about the movie. I really wish kamal reads this thread one day and realises how much he and this movie is loved by his audience. Iam sure this movie is going to be a great treat for one and all. Mark my words. today the 11th of august 1998.
  So many rumours about this movie. Last i heard so much rumour about a kamal movie was "Apoorva Sagotharargal" and "Vikram".

  Guys, I attended a recording of IR's song for some Tamil film *ing Prashant - courtesy his guitarist, whose son plays drums for KR and Yuvan and whose brother is IR's drummer for 20 years. This is reliable - I saw Yuvan in his house and took his autograph! So what I have stated is not fart. I listened to a song of Marudanayakam in Prasad studio in the presence of KR.

  Don't worry or comfused about this movie because i already know who is the music director.Do you want to know?Who else,our great IR guys.I got this information from Singapore Radio(this week).May be next week this good news will publish in the newspaper.So all of us have to wait hear a real high class music from our IR......!
