  i fail to see how there could be self-respecting humans who claim to be arr fans. when ir is around, how can one feel like putting up with anything less? such people should seriously get educated musically, there might yet be hope left for some....

  The song is eenadu vidiponi ... ee chelimi todu ee pasupu tadu, in another vamsi movie. I exactly dont remember the movie name now but I remember definetely.

  both are in anandha bhairavi which is why they sound similar. i also noticed the same in roja bgm.(the scene where vaishnavi cofee aathifies with kezhavi's in the bg). I guess ARR did re-use it but he has made significant changes .

  The tune of the song from Vamsi's KMDT, is the one of the alltime great BGM's of IR from "swarhimuthyam", which comes all through out the first half of movie during Radhika's sequence.
  The other BGM piece from the same movie, which appears for the Kamal and Somayajee's velai seeking sequence is also been used by IR for a tamil movie named "unakkagave vaazgiren" K rangaraj movie (Shiv kumar, Nadiya),
  
  Moonram Oirai, kamal, sridevi, first meeting sequence in the brothel house, has BGM (Ozhangal/Autoraja-song....thumbaccha/tamil sangathil/aakasham eanatidhi)

  I read recently in one of Vamsi's webpages that how the song we discussed above came up. It was Vamsi who was with IR used to listen to IR when he gives music to other directors too. He liked this tune from Swathimuthyam and asked IR to use that in his movie Kanaka Mahalakshmi.

  Yeah kaumudi, I was impressed with the relation of IR-VASMI. Definetely miss their combination which created wonders in Telugu FM. I guess no other Director - MD had this type of chemistry between them. I read that article many times till now..
