Song from KARNAN

Does anyone remeber the lyrics for this piece from the movie KARNAN ? It goes something like "Ayiramkarangal neeti azhaikinra thaye potri", it is a verse thats sung in the background while Sivaji is praying to Surya, and at the end of the verse, while he is leaving, Surya warns him about Indra waiting in the diguise of an old brahmin ?

Also i cant seem to find any audio of this very beautiful verse either ? Does any one have it ?

  kalai, a good article indeed !!! A point that I have stated all along, maybe the songs of this movie present the raaga side of composition for analysis, but in general, the raaga/theory concept does not find a place (atleast most of the time) in MSV's psyche. The arrangement in this movie, which was par excellence has to be mentioned.

  Just realised while humming the 'malargaL sootti' piece, 'vizhiyE vizhiyE unakkenna vElai' from 'puthiya boomi' has a lot of Durga/Sudha Saveri in it.

  I wish someone really find out what the mag reviews had to say about Karnan at the time of its release.I had mentioned about Kalki review which had given the movie an absolute thumbs down.
  
  I also feel that "Iravum nilavum" is closer to saranga style.Hamsanadham with its Vivadhi nature could not have been MSV s choice.
  
  SL Vizhiye vizhiye and mella varum kaatru can be discussed under the same type of "Kan mai yendhum" which has a peculiar start.

  What is the raga in 'Neram Pournami Neram... (SPB+ VJ) in Meenava Nanban. Is it Amritha varshini or Sunadha Vinodini or is it Mandari ?
