  A R Rahman is ranked 12th just after Kamal Hassan and ahead of Shah Rukh Khan on the national scale! Moreover he is #8 in Chennai top ten and 7th in Hyderabad!!!
  
  I'm really tempted to say something about IR missing on the entire list (I'm sure our IR fans would say that this whole poll was a shitty affair and was rigged) but I wont anyhting more!

  Even rajnikanth is not there in the list!. kamal is popular than rajni in TN?!!. Give me a break!.
  I guess they would have given a fixed list of names. other wise who would remember kiran bedi in chennai!. And where is SPB and Hariharan? how can they come before KYJ? by todays popularity?!. (iam a KYJ fan, but i feel SPB is much admired given his sweet attitude)

  Mr.Gan, sorry I am not agreed you comments. ARR never be bad in his music. Forever he is a king of music. No one can beat him no one can thought of smarter than him. I feel Rhythum album is better than previous, you may be think about negative but I am not so. I am very happy about his album which is so nice to hear when I play each time. Only ARR albums are trust worthy to buy without any doubts. I have all collection of ARR all are golden songs never to be bad even one and my faith on him never be faded and it is eternal. I do not believe the other musician albums have that worthiness. Eventually I thanks God to intruduce wounderful musician ARR to the world and I am very proud of him and respect him.

  GV only u got to say that...Only the lyrics are good in that.That's because of VM.Otherwise it is the same old arr.only because of VM he is surviving.Thats the main reason u also liked it.
  Next time if you have a duplex system try to remove the singer and try to listen to the background music and have good fun man.Then you will realize the difference.And dont ever make such statements.The good sign of a MD is that he should be able to bring the feeling in the instruments which he is using(I dont know whether you will be able to appreciate that).Insted he uses the actual sound of wind...fire etc.......I just fell like laughing man.....GV how about attending some conserts....If you get time just listen to some great musical concerts...Ok thanx

  Mr.Gan your statement really ridiculous. I have lot of collection of ARR music alone without lyrics and singer, all are amazing. First of all you should understand ARR music not depend on VM or any other Lyricist. Because of melody and rhythem in ARR music I used to buy tamil CDs, with I feel universal stand and like it very much. May be you not like his music as you are comfortable with others but I don't know other MDs music totally noisy to me and don't feel good. I am not orgue with you just I want to tell you the truth that should accept with generous mind. I can give any price for his music forever as I feel very happy when hear his music and saying that I not crazy fan of ARR. Sorry for any disturb to you.

  Just by putting some english words like "Telephone mani" or "oh..lala.." or shaka laka baby...it doesn't become universal.Man ...instrumental means it should bring in some feeling.DO listen to secret garden.
  It is arranged somewhere in finland.This guy also uses keybord.Compare these two..then tell which one gives you pleasure.Don tell me the "dantta dun dannata dun" beat in "chikku bukku raile" is rythemic..If thats the case....i cant say anything

  Thenali songs very nice compare to other MDs' music. The songs are more suitable to Kamal.
  Now you could understand that ARR not depand upon VM.
  VM has talent but he not proved with other MDs' other than ARR.
