  Vijayakanth is not a Tamilian in the first place. He Can't pronounce the language for one, and is an over-rated, lipstick-and-wig-sporting, perpetually red-eyed oldie. Doesn't have one hundredth of the charisma of the other humble star from Maharashtra. Period. (I am not a great fan of the latter's acting capabilities or the knowledge of the language, but he never claimed so, unlike the so-called Tamil Singams who are the savious of this race and want the 'simhasanam'. Puke!!!)
  
  We Tamilians are such idiots that get swayed by movies so much that any successful actor aspires to rule the state.
  
  The latest to join the bandwagon is the rat called Vijay, who is into cultivating the image of a Karna by distributing goodies to the masses (and ensure that he gets extensive press coverage)... Is it white money all the way?, asks the common man (in the safe confines of his one-room house).

  Point taken. All Tamilians are idiots. Else we would not have selected b....... and b...... for top postions in TN.
  
  A difference between Vijay and Vijaykaanth. Vijay does it for the sake of publicity. And I heard Vijaykaanth is donating money since long, but silently, not for publicity.
  
  Black or white money? Most of the rich people in India have only few laks rupees in their account as white, remaining are all black. How many of them are donating?
  
  Appreciate any one does a service. Not try to figure out the flaws. And we Tamilians THINK we are the most intellectual people on earth and pass judgements.

  Quite amazingly, lots of posts here talk about music directors as people with whom production companies and producers are required to maintain some kind of loyalty with!!!
  
  In the film industry, each project is worked out according to the convenience of release dates, availability, suitability - whatever. Hundreds of factors, most of them unnoticed by the public eye play roles in who is hired to do the job. IR could simply be pretty expensive to a film that is not that focussed on music for example.
  
  Nothing can take anything away from the maestro's class. Even less from his material well being! He is not going to starve even if he doesn't score a single film for the rest of his life - so great are the royalties he is bound to receive from the mountain of work he has delivered.
