  I feel Kanna unnai Thedukiren may not have been fully tuned by IR. Looks like some 'cut and paste' work was going on. I think his sons must have been experimenting. Any opinions ?

  Thanks for your posting a week back. I have been very busy with work and get time only

  you have written a strong rebuttal to the people
  who found the rediff article to be full of
  facts.
  
  Also this is a thread on IR's new albums and
  people resort to all sorts of slandering against
  him and also pounce on the people who enjoy
  listening to his music and want to write
  nice things about him. If people can't write
  nice things about IR's music here, where else
  can they do that?
  
  I wonder whether the same people have
  tried writing anything against ARR in all the
  ARR threads. For some people, this thread
  has become the forum to deride IR and his
  fans and they don't understand that this is
  the IR New Albums thread.
  
  I have always believed that the MSV fans
  are the ones who have always tried finding
  faults in IR's music and patronized ARR's
  music in a big way. And I have been proven
  correct by some of the postings of the people
  here.
  
  And the ironic part is the same people
  write on behalf of the whole thread. How
  can they think that the main contributors of
  the IR New Albums thread will be so much
  Anti-IR like them?

  Thanks man. Usually I don't write much in these forums, but if I see something really stupid or some baseless statements, esp. against our Raja, I would savor getting back at them...be it anybody, even if the "administrator".
  
  BTW, I listened to K.U.T and the songs are really good. IR is back to where he belongs..only if those morons in Kodambakkam Realize...
  
  I also happened to see the movie Minsara Kanna..music by our newly christened "Isai Chakravarthi"... songs are so bloody ordinary...dude not even worth humming...so bland... and they were mostly picturised in Germany with Blondes dancing...what a waste of money..I hate it when they try to picturise some bad songs in a "Gala" way!!
  
  This deva..ugh..how my blood boils..I wonder how he keeps getting assignments...he is so talentless...none of his sings are worth hearing, and to top it all, if ARR or IR introduce some singer, he/she will be in his next album!

  IR fans should realise this - that he has not tried to take up the challenge thrown up by ARR. Next, some of the films for which he scored good music never really kept the cash boxes tinging. Hey Ram is a good example. If only the movie had run ... Or even Kannukul Nilavu. Ask the Kodambakkam morons to give him just one big banner and they will see it. Let them give him the scope and of course, a director who can get the best out of him. Surely, none of ARR hits can match his Ninnukori, Ilaya Nila .... The list never ends for IR.

  Take it Easy Chuppi. All the couse is the director
  in Chennai most of them are Morons. They always
  think pop music is the new trend. They don't know millions of Tamils ,south indian in particular around the world tired of listening to those music
  and want some original indian track. I hope some
  people will tell these messages to the morons( director) and massage their bulb brains.
  
  For the case of IR he can't turn down any amateur
  director offer then the media will put him as a
  choosy MD

  yes, the movie was pedestrian... but just the picturisation of 'kaadhal nee thaana' was sufficient proof of geeta krishna's good aesthetic sensibility. don't you agree that this song was shot much better than many of the 'super-hits'? 'niram pirithu's rejection is a puzzle though much like hey ram's treatment of 'isaiyil thodanguthamma'. a sign of the MD not holding the shots anymore? BTW, what are the jumk numbers you're talking about? (muthu nilave sure is one, but which other?)

  Picturization is something that comes up after the music has been done.
  If u feel whatever Mastero does is great, casette sales should rocket shoot even before the movie hits the theatres.
  If you hold the Director and cameraman to be responsible for the success outcome, they why attribute credits to IR?? thats surprising.

  I am sad to hear comments like those made by Genius and others, who fail to realize what a great Musician IR is. Sure today is not his best time, but that can no way reduce is greatness!

  Small Digression!
  Did any one tune to htp://indiavision.domainvalet.com/ and listen to the songs/. Great effort! However I hear very few IR songs and mostly either pre-70s or 90s songs with few IR songs here and there. Am I paranoid or is the host Srikanth a pro-MSV/pro-ARR/Deva guy! I wish that is not true because the webcast is of good quality and I would love to hear more of it. I would rather like to hear a nice mix of all songs be it GR/KVM/MSV/TKR/IR/TR/ARR. Any one who can throw some light on this!

  well, for this to happen the songs shud be there in the tape, right??
  
  My point is the tunes that were rejected could be of niram piriththu's calibre (That song was ditched for a mediocre number like kAdhal needhAnA or something )....I wud be more interested in listening to the songs rejected by him, for there cud be some gems like niRam piriththu....who knows ??

  Shankar: I think Time was a pretty decent album. Apart from Niram pirithu paarthen, Thavikkiren is a melodious number with a totally new harmonium (or accordion, I'm not sure) piece in the second interlude. Kaadhal needhaana has a really melodious tune. Naan thanga roja has a good tune and good interludes.
  
  I thought it was one of the better albums from Raja in recent days since it had one exceptional number and three good numbers.
