  Whether you guys accept it or not,
  unfortunately HH has replaced spb considerably, ARR has replaced IR totally,
  the trend in tamil film music has changed drastically. Still the people who object to pronounciation and other stuff are just handful. if you guys belong to the mass then ARR would be nowhere.I rest my case with this arguement.
  
  
  
  This shows that u go by the opinion of the masses and dont have any opinion of your own. even autokaaran and vandhenda paalkaaran songs were popular. Are u going to say that they were musically superior and thats why they were popular?
  
  we are coming back to Square A. Instead of arguing based on clear facts we are talking about ARR's and IRs popularity levels which have been well established and for which there is no argument here.

  Hi fans,
  Just a real fact, I am posting here.
  I got the Rhythm CD yesterday in a local store. When that album released ? About a week back ?
  Just I wanna upload those songs in my site. My roomie had a bet with me that I can't get that album here.
  
  Atlast, I got that album. But my roomie is still struggling a lot to get "Bharathy" album here. Whenever he goes to shop, the shopkeeper asking him, whether there is a album called "Bharathy" ? I asked him to download from Muthamil.com. But he has a hard stand of buying original cassette. I bet he will not get it for min. 1 month. But I get ARR's CD with in 2 days of album release.
  
  This shows the demand & popularity level of ARR.

  I listened to Rhythm from yr. CD. Orey puzhiththa pazhaya vAdai. I think ARR is working with limited no. of tunes (Oru pAttil irundhu 4 pAttu) OR very busy with Webber's "Bombay dreams" ?

  EVERY TIME a top celebrity drops in for a guest appearance, fans throng the venue for a `darshan'. And, when it is one celebrity too many, it turns into a mob.
  
  So it was no surprise that Music World played out a chaotic note, quite different from the promised patriotic fanfare. There were foul- mouthed security people, who were herding the crowd around like P.T. masters at middle school.
  
  The special screening on the occasion of Independence Day featured music director A. R. Rahman, Vikku Vinayakaram, Sudha Raghunathan, violinists Ganesh and Kumaresh.
  
  The flock strayed in 35 minute late, as enthu security people collected audience for the show, showing customers the way out one and half hours before the actual appearance.
  
  Then the strings. For staying inside Music World, one had to buy a tape or CD of Rahman's latest album `Jana Gana Mana' under the Bharat Bala banner, that features some legends of Indian music.
  
  The group was mobbed by mediapersons, fighting for space, quite literally, as the organisers pushed people around. The climax of the show was when Rahman got up to speak. His words drowned in the cacophony of sound created by the organisers who were vocal, in high pitch.
  
  After permitting one question, mediapersons were told: time up.

  The bass piece that accompanies the pallavi of "Ayyo pathikichu" in Rhythm....is it the same as the one that accompanies the entire "Thanga thamarai magale" song from M.Kanavu ?

  The backdrop synthesizer tune of "Nilme.." resembles or rather the same as "onnu rendu moonuda.." from another ARR movie..

  Rhythum another lovely hits from A R Rahman.
  
  This music is amazing especially the songs KATREY YEN VASAL THERANTHAI AND THANIYEE THANAN THANIYEE really enjoyed by my family and everyone appreciate it. My favourite songs too and even don't forget to listen atleast once in a day.
  
  Thanks to ARR for his wonderful album and his all musician cooperate with ARR to compose the beatiful songs.

  To whom think that ARR is repeating the melodies...
  See, he is actually creating music in a whole different style, which is to improve and prove better. Meaning that he has a lot of idea from creating one music and spread it to the limits
  
  Just like from a root of a tree to all the branches.
  
  Do remember that he is also following the demand of the movie director.
  
  Please consider the words before dropping it.
  He is creative and at the same tome inovative.
  Try to accept that in your life.
  And I am not backing up anyone.
  
  For the rest, I am a great fan of ARR,

  Listen folks,
  It seems to me that the anti-ARR brigade seems to listen to Rahman's music just so that they may poke holes in it. Who knows, they may be playing it over and over again just to find out what it reminds them of and when they find a single bar that might've been used by IR in a Ramanarayanan movie in 1979, they leap up yelling 'Cheat! Copy Cat!' and then run to their comps and start a thread called 'Does Rahman use a photocopier?' etc.,
  Folks, try and enjoy the music and don't look go through it with a fine toothed comb FOR THE SAKE OF ADDING YOUR TWO PENNY WORTH TO THIS MEDIUM. I think this medium should be used for exchange of musical knowledge and not for petty complaints.
  Ultimately, music will survive both Rahman and Raja.

  you may be a fanatic of ARR. does not mean that you can get away with anything. SPB and HH can not be compared. it is like comparing Kishore and Kumarsanu.SPB need not prove anything further in Film Music. Similarly ARR can not replace IR. No chance. once again an odious comparison.
