  a friend dubbed anthafpuram on one side and kAdhal kavidhai on the other for me. it's just a week now
  and the
  side with anthafpuram has already become a kandhalpuram :-) it's like eating "muzhangai vazhivAra"
  veNpongaL. chiththra is amazing. the other side - KK was disappointing until the tape reached the
  folk song by pushpavanam kuppuswami (correct?) and followed by konjip pEsu kObam enna kaNNammA. this one (konjip
  pEsu) is definitely the sweetest song of the year (1999).
  
  my footnote: i am an objective listener and my knowledge of music is not so bad as every other person and
  i don't mind if the music was copied or algorithmic as long as it was good and especially so if it
  were from somebody who has shown that creativity is his job and i am really sorry to write this piece of
  junk :-(( (and that's not a smiley!)

  Bhava was exceptionally good (for her) in Amman pughazai paada enakku.

  Did anyone listen to ChinnaDurai? That was released 3 weeks back and I have not seen any reviews here (sorry I have missed it).
  
  There are six songs in the album. I listened to the Duet by UK & Devi(?) - Kolusu konjum pAdham...Great!! Then a duet by SPB & Devi - Maragathakutti...Good. Mattikitta....By Mano(I think it is Mano) - A Dappanguththu. And an Ummachchi pAdal by Devi - NeeyE GathiyammA. Other two songs have not made any instant impact at the first listnening.
