  The problem with ARR fans they are totally immature. Stupid and crappy songs like peta rap,
  shakalaka baby, ooh lala, .. lyrics were so stupid. This guy must be the least creative person on the earth. He recycles the same music again and again. or he copies. He plainly copied the music from the French movie Amelie and added in KM song. He copies from mexican movies. Stupid ARR.. Stupid fans... who don't have sondhamana moolai!!

  Shankar Ganesh is a better MD than ARR. His songs and BGM are bearable compared to this "sori" ARR.
  If we give marks to each MD in TFM.

  V-R 80%
  Vijaya Baskar 75%
  Sanker Ganesh 55%
  Harris Jayaraj, Maragadamani, V.S.Narasimman,
  Bharadwaj... etc. mds 50%

  IR is the first asian to compose in RPH. Unless you are a genius you won't be invited there. I don't think any other MD from India has been invited there. Classical music needs creativity.

  JJ, the point is if hollywood directors want to compose a kirtana and play it in chennai music season - it is not easy to get there. so let us stop stooping low. ARR is producing "for the audience" there is a difference. IR is composing to his level of musical understanding not to the level of an MTV type audience... your statement is quite true, in my sleep i get MTV type songs composed but the problem is I can't wake up from that stupor ;--)

  IR's reach is more. Particularly even remote village people will appreciate his music. ARR music will never reach there with his english mix like texas, sanfrancisco, shakalaka baby, strawberry kanne. His music won't reach even carnatic audiences. It will only reach bunch of MTV fans!! Yamunai aatrile song from Dhalapathi was based on Yamunaa Kalyani raaga. That is IR for you. Tamil music lost its luster after IR reduced scoring music actively. I guess with all this craps around by like 10 or 15 MDs i guess it is better that IR start composing classical.

  Please don't compare ARR with useless good for nothing IR.
  IR cannot even suit the dust in ARR's feet.
  
  It was IR who introduced vulgar songs to TFM.
  Can anyone with a little bit of brains accept Nilaa kaayuthu, Nethu rathiriyamma and Ponmeni uruguthu, etc as decent songs? Saw how low he brought TFM too. That is IR for you.

  Bombay Dreams is watched mostly by Indian audiences, or foriegn audiences under the compulsion of Indian Audiences!! Not the whole world. Same tunes which came as early as in 1996, 97,98. With utterly disgusting lyrics he has presented to the so called "ARR fans world" which comprises of two hundred people. In any show you get people. Even for San jose fashion parade there were thousands of people!! This "ARR world" is full of immatured junk people who have no taste or music knowledge whatosever.
